"A+ in English, A+ in Math, A+ in Science, A in Spanish, and A+ in SS! You're a straight "A" student! I am so proud of you, honey!" exclaimed May's mom. "Thanks." I smiled. "I have a surprise for you mom." I said, smirking. "I know! You got a scholarship!" hugged May's mom. "Ugh" I sighed. "What a great way of introducing a surprise." thought May. The next day, she started to pack up for College.
She packed up everything thing she need throughout the years. Then, she was off to the airport. He was going to Massachusetts, for Harvard. She had to wait for a few hours because she lived in Ohio. After she got off the plane. She called a taxi. When the taxi arrived, May told the taxi driver to Harvert. As the taxi drove the car, May looked out the window, amazed. It was her first time in Massachusetts.
She was breath taken. As they pass the beach, she was so amazed by how beautiful it was and how the surfers, surfed. Finally, they reached Harvard, located in Cambridge, MA. When she took a step out of the car, she saw swarms of people walking in and out of Harvard. Her taxi driver opened and trunk and gave May her luggage.
She grappled the handle, and walked threw the long path, leading towards Harvard. She walked pass a bunch of students. As she made her way through, she saw her friend, Marthea Rosa Yarí. They had been friends since third grade. They started to chat and chat and chat. Finally May told Marthea that she had to go. As May walked up the starts, she took a deep breath, in and out. She opened the doors, and took a step in.
