Chapter 3- Cupcake War (Filler Chapter)

The next morning I was awoken with Niall playing with my hair. Boy did I love these friendly moments

“Sorry did I wake you up? Asked Niall blushing.

“Nope.” I said popping the p. “So what do you wanna do today?” I asked.

“Well my mom texted me saying your family is coming over tonight for dinner. And then they’ll be announcing some news. And I will be too. Do you wanna go hang out in town?”

He’s announcing some news? What can it be? I thought hard. My thoughts were interrupted with Niall laughing.

“What’s so funny?” I asked curious.

“Your thinking face!” he practically shouted. I couldn’t think of a good comeback so I just blushed.

“Anywhos, sure we can go to town. I just wanna go home and shower and get ready. And eat.” I added.

“Sounds good. I’ll be at your house in an hour and half.” Responded niall taking off towards his house.

*NIALLS P.O.V* I couldn’t wait to tell Sylvia and her family what she was waiting for.

*2 HOUR LATER NIALL AND SYLVIA ARE IN TOWN*

Me and Sylvia continued to walk up the streets in town trying to find our favorite store. We both haven’t been there in ages. We stopped at the last store on the block and looked up realizing this was it. The first store me and Sylvia went to as kids from our time being friends.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her into “Frosted Couture” to get our snacks.

“Hey Michael. 2 red velvet cupcakes please.” I said greeting mine and sylvia’s friend Michael. I tried handing him the money.

“On the house.” Said Michael with a smile.

“Thanks Mike.” Said Sylvia flashing her perfect smile. Stop Niall Sylvia doesn’t like you. She only thinks of you as a friend.

Mike handed us our cupcakes and we went to sat down.

“What are you gonna tell me at dinner? Can I know now?” asked Sylvia with hope in her eyes.

“ You’ll just have to wait.” I replied with a smirk.

“Dammit Niall,  why do you have to be so stubborn.” She said before whipping her cupcake at me directly hitting my face.

“Is that so?” I asked picking up my cupcake about to throw it.

“Bring it Horan.” She said looking tough.

That’s all I need. I fired the cupcake hitting her directly in the eye.

“MIKE MORE CUPCAKES PRONTO” yelled Sylvia. Mike quickly brought out a tray of cupcakes and joined into our fun. After the cupcake war, me and Sylvia started heading out to get cleaned up for dinner. Boy I couldn’t wait to tell her the news.

Once it was finally dinner time, my family and Sylvia’s all sat together in the dining room. Once everybody was settled down, I tried to speak up. My mom and sylvia’s mom were talking. Both our dad talking. Greg on his phone and me and Sylvia just sat there in silence. “excuse me everyone but I’d like to make an announcement. Well mostly to the Taylor family.” I said winking ay Sylvia.

She smiled as I continued. I opened my mouth to speak. “I…”
