I turned around to look at the boy at the back of the class..for about the 50th time today and smiled as he just gazed out the window.

He suddenly smiled slightly and got out his sketchpad and started to draw.

"Mr Howard,Its not art class!" The spanish teacher snapped but he didn't budge.

Some snickers and whispers flew across the room and The teacher just rolled her eyes.

"I'll let you off this time Mr Howard!" She warned,Pointing a finger.

The bell rang ten minutes later and the room quickly emptied.

as I gathered my stuff,I saw him finish off the drawing and quickly stand up.

"Sky and Charlie!" We both looked at the teacher and she pointed her finger again.

"Hurry up before you're late!" We both nodded and ran out quickly.

When it was lunch,I walked down the hall until I heard laughter and small whimpers.

i looked to my left and saw two jocks pushing Charlie up against a blue locker.

I looked closer and noticed he had a fresh cut just above his eyebrow.

"Aww whats wrong pretty boy,is your boyfriend not here to protect you?"

One of the Jocks said and the others just laughed and high-fived eachother.

Truth is,Charlie doesnt have a boyfriend...yet!

If I wasn't such a wimp,then we would've been dating long ago!

When I got out of my thoughts, I saw poor Charlie on the ground..shaking and crying.

I sighed and walked over to him,bent down and touch his arm but he flinched,making me pull away quickly.

"Im sorry..Are you okay?" i whispered and looked into his emerald green eyes.

He sniffled and just nodded,Standing up and walked away.

Puttting my head in my hands,I sighed while whispering to myself.

"Damn."
