Too Close For Comfort....

Chapter 1

'ooh ooh, ooh ooh' is all that could be heard coming from the bathroom upstairs. 'Tom, you better hurry up as everyone will be here soon' Ellie shouted at the door. No answer came back to her. Tom was in the shower & in the zone. She knew better than to interrupt him when he has a song idea in his head.

Even after a year together Ellie was still learning more about the love her life. 1/4 of British band McFLY. They had met at a 'Busted' gig... He was wondering around outside & walked into her as she came around the side of the venue searching for her cousin & Busted bassist Matt Willis who also happens to be Tom's friend. They locked eyes & that was it for them from that moment on.

Ellie is an up & coming graphics designer. She fell for Tom not because of his fame but because of his personality. Tom has different sides to him which Ellie is still finding out, He can be a happy/hyper guy who is like the class clown at times, next he can be all serious & sensible then he can slip into a world of his own when writing songs or he has an idea for one. When he is in the last stage Ellie has learnt to leave him & get the ideas sorted out.

As for Ellie, Tom would say she only had two sides to her. One was very hyper/happy like him then she could be so focused on what she was doing just like himself when writing/playing around with song ideas. This is why they fitted so well together. They had a mutual understanding more each other's sides/moods. Their relationship was one of fun, easiness, happiness & lots of laughter. She got on with his friends Danny, Harry, Dougie, Dougie's cousin Natalie, their producer & Jason as well as Matt's band mates Charlie & James who all hung out a lot.

Tonight was no different from any other, the boys & their girlfriends would be arriving in about 30 minutes for their normal Friday night get together. Ellie continued to get ready as Tom finally entered their room, wrapped in a towel with his hair all floppy over his eyes.

'Hey babe; he said as he rummaged around a drawer trying to find some boxers. 'Oh you finally are out the shower, you are worse than a girl' Ellie joked with him. Pulling his boxers on, he lifted his head up slightly so his hair fell over his eyes to one side. 'Sorry I had a song idea in my head & I didn't want it to leave' he mumbled.

'Its okay'' Ellie answered as she finished getting ready before making her way over to him. Stood in front of her was a lush blonde haired guy with the cutest dimple on his face. By now he had a pair of jeans on but no top. She placed her hand onto his chest just over his large star tattoo & placed a kiss on his cheek. Just as Tom went to pull her closer the door bell rings. 'Fuck sake' Tom said as Ellie moved away to get it. 'Wait you can't just leave me like this' he added. Ellie chucked as she walked out the bedroom door 'Later' is all she needed to say to him as she left him with a cheek grin.

Now with Matt & his girlfriend Emma, Charlie & his girlfriend Anna, Danny & his girlfriend Marina, Harry & James now arrived at the house all they needed to do was wait for Dougie, Jason their producer & Dougie's cousin Natalie to arrive. Finally after another 20 minutes Dougie, Jason & Natalie finally wondered into the house. Now the party could get started. This would be the last group catch up before the McFLY boys, Jason, Natalie, Ellie & Marina headed out to Australia for 8 weeks to record the boys new album. For tonight it was all about fun, friends & laughter. Well for everyone but Dougie.

Dougie had not been himself for some weeks, it was like something was bothering him but he didn't want to talk about it. Not even his cousin Nat could get him to open up. She was worried about him as was everyone else but any time anyone tried to ask him he would brush it off by saying he was tired, not feeling well or was fine. They knew not to push him but let him talk in his own time. The night started off with lots of laughter, lots of food & stories about days gone by. Suddenly Tom rushes into another room & brings out some acoustic guitars which means on thing, a singing session. This always happened but tonight Tom needed help. 'I need some help with a song' Tom announced to the group. ' Lets here it so far' Jason said moving closer to tom. As Jason has work with both bands he feels right at home with them even though he's a little older than them they all look up to him. & respect him.
