3. Familiar Encounters

*in the southern part of Equestria, Luna, Artemis, and their night guard troops are at camp keeping watch over the regular ponies*

Luna- *serious to her guards* Echo. Nocturn. Watch over the camp.

Artemis- *serious* Luna and I are going to investigate something in Ponyville.

Echo/Nocturn- *bows seriously* *in unison* Yes, your highnesses.

*Luna and Artemis shoud the camp in mist so that they remain hidden*

*Luna and Artemis use their magic to teleport to Ponyville*

*in the abandoned Ponyville Luna and Artemis teleport in and notice how quiet and desolate it is*

Luna- *sadly admits* I remember how colorful and festive this town was...it's such a shame what's become of it now...

Artemis- *feels a strong magical pressence* It's this way...

Voices- *calls quietly* Luna, Artemis.

*the two look to see Cadence and Bolero fly down*

Artemis- *calm* Cadence. Bolero.

*the four nuzzle each other*

Luna- *points* The strong magical pressence is this way.

*the four fly to where the Golden Oak Library is*

Cadence- *arches eyebrow* It looks abandoned but we sense powerful magic...*looks at Bolero* And it's familiar somehow...

Bolero- *nods* I feel it too...

Artemis- *solemn to Cadence and Bolero* Luna and I will go in and see these time traveling ponies. Even though it's quiet, make sure we aren't disturbed.

Cadence/Bolero- *nods seriously* *uses their magic to turn invisible and stands by the door*

*Luna and Artemis turn into mist and phase into the tree*

*in the library*

*Luna and Artemis phase inside the library and turns back to normal as they hear light snoring*

Luna/Artemis- *twitches their hears and looks up at the bed* *the two fly up to see Twilight and Dusk sleeping in the bed with Spike and Barbra cuddled against them* *looks at each other in shock* (Baby dragons?)  *looks at Twilight and Dusk* *activates their horns* (Let's see who you two are, time travellers)

*white glowing lines trace along their horn lines and two little ball of white trace to Twilight and Dusk's heads*

*in their nightmares*

*Twilight and Dusk are screaming as they're falling through time with Starlight and Stellar laughting evily*

*the two land in the same crystal trap that Sombra and Oscura set for them without their wings as Spike and Barbra are falling with the CrystalHeart and Sombra and Oscura are reaching them*

Sombra/Oscura- *levitates the Crystal Heart to them and destroys it while laughing evilly*

Twilight/Dusk- *worriedly* NOOOO!!!

Sombra/Oscura- *turns all the Crystal Citizens including their friends and family into slaves* *grins evilly  as they look at the tower Twilight and Dusk are in and turns to smoke and flies up to it*

Twilight/Dusk- *tries to teleport out but are instantly grabbed by dark magic and are staring Sombra and Oscura down*

Sombra/Oscura- *grins evilly as the two use dark magic to strike them down*
