Two: Primary Suspect

"BAKIT ko kailangang sumama sa kanila? Manigas sila. Tss."

"Ako din. Wala naman akong ginawa sa gurong iyon. Halos kararating ko lang."

"You need to go. No one said that you are the culprit. You are just a suspect." My roommate barge in to their conversation. Tumalim naman ang tingin ng dalawang guro sa kabilang mesa sa gurong katabi ko.

She have the guts. We don't even know who are these men but she interrupt their conversation. Such a mean lady.

"Ano bang nangyayari? Bakit may namamatay? Unang araw palang natin dito ah." PE teacher said in frustration.

"You think I'll go? No way." Science teacher said.

What is really happening to this place?

And what makes it suspicious is that they are just turning blind eye to what happened. Mangilan-ngilan lamang ang nagrereklamo pero halos lahat ng narito ay nakakakain nang maayos.

"Look around. They are not bothered." I can't help but state my observation.

My colleagues roam their eyes around. Napabuntong hininga naman ang roommate ko.

Suddenly, a new face join us in our table. She is a petite lady with pale complexion just like my roommate. Her hair is curly and long. She has deep black eyes. She looks like a barbie.

"Don't mind me. There's no table available so I came here. Sorry for interruption." She said.

"Hi! We are new teachers here. How about you?" I asked.

"I am working here for almost three years now. I am working in registrar office. I am a secretary of the university."

"That's cool!" PE teacher said.

"By the way, I overheard your discussion a while ago." Inilapit niya ang kanyang mukha kaya naman napalapit din kaming dalawa ni PE teacher. Mukhang may sasabihin siyang sikreto. She continues to talk but her voice is now lower than the last.

"They aren't bothered anymore to the incident of killing because it always happens."

"What do you mean?" Science Teacher asked.

Ngayon naman ay lumapit na rin ang tatlo pa naming kasama. Curiosity never fails us haha.

"Dead people are just normal to PSSU's daily basis. This will not be the first case that you will witness. They said that the killer is just here in university, roaming and looking for his next prey. His target are usually ladies who are petite, pretty, and smart. And of course, mysteriously, he is after the teachers who are working here." Secretary said with frightening look. Napakapit naman ako sa aking roommate.

Chills.

"WHAT do you think about the Killing Incident in this university?" Math teacher asked us. We are now heading to our faculty room. Today is our first day in class.

"Wow! You're talking pala?!" PE teacher exclaimed. Every one rolled their eyes toward him.

"I think this is because of some gangsters." Science teacher concluded.

"Me, I think it is just a coincident. Duh! Parang tanga naman kasi. Tinatakot lang nila tayo. Yun ngang ibang nagtatrabaho dito ay wala namang pakialam." PE teacher said.

" I never thought that there are killings here." I said.

"Who would have known. No one knows what is really happening here." Math teacher replied.

"Ganito nalang, let us investigate later. Magtanung-tanong tayo guys." I implied.

"Akala ko ay takot ka. Kung makakapit ka kanina sa roommate mo ay parang wala nang bukas." PE teacher asked me.
