The Mythical Minotaur, the bullseye Taurus
Upon the glorious and beautiful sun rise, Cassie could feel the softness of the light. Seems strange, but she can just feel it. Her eyes lit opened like her meal of syrup pancakes has arrived to her at command. She put one hand at the sun’s light, and made silly puppet hands out of it. She looked up and down; she was still in her bed. She thought about yesterday, Poseidon and the Kraken, the battle of the immortals and Tartarus. She wiped her eyes from sweat and looked at the window. “Someone, give me a break…” She pushed herself up from bed, and stared at the bathroom door. She had to get ready for today, since it is the day she’ll be training. “I think I am going to barf…” thought Cassie. Cassie stood up and got ready. As she finished her little daily wake-up activity, she walks out the door in the Botanical Gardens. Cassie noticed someone running, coming towards her. “Oh! Hello there! You must be Cassie!” shouted an average size girl, bit shorter than Cassie, wearing red glasses, black hair and a pair of jet black wings behind her shoulders, feathery and flight worthy. “Who are you?” asked Cassie. “Oh how rude of me! My name is Etoile! I am your best friend! We’ve been friends for a long time now! But you have been gone… for a long time now… so I doubt you’ll have a memory of me” said Etoile happily as she goes down to her low and soft voice. “I’m sorry, but I don’t know anyone here in Aquila, except the Gods. “Oh, I see” said Etoile with a face. “What’s wrong?” asked Cassie. “Oh! Haha! Nothing! Just wanted to come by and say hi… you know?” happily said Etoile. “Well! I’ll be going! See you! Soon” said Etoile as she left onto the stone road. “Gosh, I need to remember these people!” said Cassie with a frustrated look. She walked along the Botanical Gardens pathway, till she reached the sea docks. Awaiting for the arrival of Poseidon, looking up and down, places to places. It took her awhile to noticed a horn shell was under her two feet, touching it at the bottom shell. Cassie was curious to see what it was. She picked it up and found a note attached to it. “Cassie, use this horn to call me”.
Cassie knew what this meant, as it is, like some kind of phone call to dad, in a really loud way. Cassie looked around the shell looking for the blowing part, where she could blow the horn to call her dad.
“Uh, where is it?” said Cassie as she looks for it. She finally found the blowing part under the note, she sigh and said “How dumber can I get?” Cassie blew the horn with all her might. The loud noise awakened the tired guards, who seems to limb and faints every time at duty, she sure did them a favor not to get themselves fired. The waters started to rumble in big waves of water, as if it was a sea storm in day. What was strange was is that, there were static of electricity in the water waves. Cassie looked closely and closely and saw a figure coming up before her eyes. The waters were rumbling in fear, static shocks shown. She looked at the person in front of her, you would have guessed. Right in front of Cassie’s two eyes, stood a great and powerful god of thunder, or even king of all gods, Zeus the great and powerful. “Oh dear… Uh, what’s going on?” shrieked Cassie in fear. The power Zeus hold in one hand a thunderbolt, strong and mighty, once touched, you’re instantly toasted to bits. His armor plate and hands were strong as hot steel, surrounded by the static electricity of power, and of course, the royal crown, along with a halo. Cassie was stunned. She then noticed another figure was rising up from under the water. Out came, her dad, Poseidon. “Cassie! My wonderful dear… I’ve missed you so much, my heart would break to see you go…” said the humble and powerful Zeus with blight and joy. “Cassie, this is my brother, and also your uncle, Zeus. He will be helping you train for the battle of Tartarus!” said Poseidon with heavy and strong words. “Already? His too strong for me! How can I possibly do it?” screamed Cassie. “You can do it my dear, I know you could… I will go easy on you, shall will my pals” said Zeus. “Pals? Oh no, is it more than just you” asked Cassie with a sigh. “Yes Cassie, my daughter and my trusted buddy Taurus” said Zeus. Cassie stared at Zeus and Poseidon, floating in their floating waves as she stands on land looking helpless holding a horn. “Why?” she thought. Cassie sighs and asked “When do we start?”. Zeus uplifted himself off the floating waves, as the floating magical water condenses into the air. Zeus flew up high and landed on the land beside Cassie, like a quiet flamingo, stepping into the water, but much more quiet. “Now” said Zeus with blight. “Good luck Cassie” said Poseidon.
