Chapter 1:
I lifted my leg high and straight.
My silk ribbon dancing gracefully behind me. My heart beating fast as I jumped, twirled and pirouetted. My toes were almost numb, having been on their points for hours. I spun once more before letting my heels fall to the ground as I finished my performance. The invisible audience clapped silently when I made my way off the imaginery stage. I carefully unwrapped the ribbon around my ankles and slid the white silk ballet slippers off my sore feet. I shrugged into a pale blue sweater and gathered my things, quietly walking out of the mirrored hall.
"Jacinta! Jacinta! Is that you?" yelled my immature room mate Savanna, as I unlocked the apartment door.
"uh, yeah. It's me" I called back. I walked into the living room and found Savanna sitting on the couch with her annoying-but-hot boyfriend Jesse. "Oh, hey Jassy! I was wondering if you could maybe leave Jesse baby and I alone tonight? Maybe you could get a night in a hotel... I dunno. Pretty pleeeeaase Jacinta? We'll be done by ten-" "okay Sav! Calm down" I said trying to sound calm myself. I smoothed down my rap-on ballet skirt. "I'll just go get changed".
When I got to my room as sat down on the bed. I disliked Savanna. She kicked me out every Friday night so she could flirt with Jesse. But I didnt mind. I kinda liked going out into the city. Suddenly Jesse strode into the room. "Hey" he whispered, as if he didnt want anyone to hear. He shut the door and walked closer to me. "hi?" I replied, saying it like a question. He leaned down to me and pulled my face up to his. Jesse kissed me hard, his lips stumbling over mine. "Argh! What are you doin-" "Ssh" he put a finger to my lips and kissed me once more. I tried to push him away but he was too strong. My hand felt along the bed until I found a book. A great self-defense weapon when you know how to use it. I slammed the book down on the top on his hollow head. "Ouch! You bitch!" he yelped. I picked got up for the bed and sprinted to the door, grabbing my handbag on the way. I left without saying goodbye to Savanna. Jesse was a creep. A freaky mental creep.

Chapter 2:
Where I was headed, I didn't know.
I looked up at the city lights as I left the apartment.
Smiling, I turned right. Soon after, I walked down a deserted alley way with graffiti lining the sides. Now I knew exactly where I was going. Club Jersey. The best club in NYC. I knocked exactly four times. A friendly face opened the door.
"Ted!" I laughed as he poked his head out, "Jacinta! Long time no see, ay?" he smiled warmly, speaking with an italian accent, "I thought you quit bouncing here!" I joked, "only because I stopped seeing Jacinta. Come on in!" he chuckled.
I walked through the hall and onto the dancefloor. I really wish it was easier to get to the table, there were so many people dancing. I sat down on the closest table. "Now, what would you like my dear girl?" asked Ted, "you're a waitor too? Oh, anything. I dunno" I replied, "She-ore thing!"
I watched as the many dancers started a congo line. "Don't feel like joining do we?" I was startled by the beautiful, husky voice. I turned to see a cute guy with messy dark blonde hair was sitting across from me. He moved to look me in the eye. I was startled once more. His eyes where so green, so deep. As if there was a whole story behind each one.
"u-um. No" I stammered, mesmerised by his face. He was absolutely gorgeous. "Stare much? No, it's okay. I get that alot" he mused, winking flirtaciously.
"umm....." I replied, not knowing what to say.
"Hey, I'm Tyler" he said loudly, "er, nice to meet you... Tyler?" I looked him up and down. He was gorgeous. Dark, olive skin, with wavy, but messy darkish brown hair. He was muscular, and wearing a dark gray T-shirt. "How about you come back home with me, say, for a coffee?" "uh, I don't go home with strangers....." I quivered slowly, "of course, well tata!" he sung.
He got up from his chair and walked away.
I decided to leave, too.
I walked back down the alley and suddenly stopped in my tracks. My mouth dropped open.
I stared at the massive poster that I hadn't noticed before.
