Chapter 45

                         Rayi constantly goes to her psychiatrist without Mom and Dad knowing, and I'm glad she's gotten much better.

CJ is on his way to a business meeting because of his Mom's sudden schedule. I honestly don't know much about his whereabouts now. We're living separately and we only see each other on weekends because I live with Rayi.

"Call me when you arrived." I hugged CJ.

"Yes, love. I will. Take care, okay?"

"We will."

"Anyway, do you still have the rose I gave you way back college? If I'm not mistaken, I told you that I'll be there for you until the last rose dies. Tapos may something sa loob ng last rose which will never die, obviously."

"I think I have that."

"Great. I have the key. Let's open it together when I return."

"Ady and I will wait for you. Ingat."

"I love you. And I love Ady very much too." He carried Ady to give him a kiss.

Pag-alis ni CJ, kela ate Syd kami dumiretso ni Ady to see baby Thylane. She just gave birth last week.

"Kamukha ni kuya Aki." I smiled as I carry Thylane. Kuya Aki carried Ady.

"Dapat ako ang kamukha. Dinala ko ng siyam na buwan tapos si Aki ang kamukha. Unfair ng life." Ate Sydney ranted.

"As long as Thylane is healthy."

"Sabagay, kamukhang-kamukha nga pala ni CJ si Ady. Ang gwapo naman kasi ng fiancée mo, Erin." Ate Sydney laughed.

"Speaking of, si CJ?"

"May pinuntahan, kuya. Mas biglang business meeting."

"Sakto, he's calling." I pointed out at my phone so ate Syd carried Thylane.

"Hi, love."

"It's not even two hours yet. Matagal pa?"

"Isang oras nalang siguro. I'll call again pag nakarating na ako. Say hi to baby Thylane for me."

"I will. And I'll wait for your call. Ingat."

"Yes, Ma'am. I love you."

"I love you too. Sige na, bye!" I sighed.

Dumating sila Eros at ang iba ko pang pinsan dahil Sabado ngayon.

"Erin, you're just overthinking. Ako nahihilo sa'yo." Eros tried to stop me walking back and fourth. It's been three hours and still, I wasn't able to receive any calls or texts from CJ.

"Sabi niya tatawagan niya agad ako!"

"Baka walang signal?" Mark tried to call CJ but the line was out of coverage.

"Try calling tita Ava. Baka nag-update sa kanya si CJ." Ivan said.

Nang tawagan ko si tita Ava, she also had no idea.

"Wala, anak. Akala ko na-next ka na niya. Wala pa siyang text saakin, eh."

"Really, tita? Nag-alala po ako. Take care. Baka tumawag din po mamaya."

"Yes, thank you. Ingat kayo and I miss you and Ady." She said before hanging the call.

A minute didn't fast before getting a call from CJ.

"Hello?"

"CJ? Ang tagal mo naman tum-"

"Ma'am, Batangas police po ito. May aksidente pong nangyari dito. Kaso, wallet lang po 'yung andito. At sa phone po, number niyo 'yung nasa initial contact. 'Yung asawa niyo po, wala sa kotse. Pinapa-hanap po siya dito sa malapit sa area. Ang pinag-aaralan pong sanhi ng insidente ay sirang brakes."
