Y/N

"Come on, Y/N! If we don't hurry now, they'll start without us!" Mina's voice shouted out to him as they both ran for their lives, puffing and panting from how much of a rush they were in.

Right now it was morning, around 8:16am to be exact and Y/N and Mina were currently sprinting towards the front gates of U.A High. Why? Because it was Monday; the day of their fieldwork based around their heroics. Of course, most students at this time would already be in school or just a tad bit near to the time the bell rang, even someone the likes of Y/N. Mina also woke up considerably early even though she lived a bit closer to the school than he did, it was just the way she worked. But unfortunately... neither one of them were planning to have a coincidental sleep-in on the day they just so happened to be in school for.

"I think... I think you're worrying... a little bit too much..." Y/N wheezed, he struggled to keep in line with the much fitter pinkette but he still tried his best. Whether it was because of something else or just coincidental, neither of them knew. All that mattered right now was making it in on time before the bell rung as they panted up the long pathway that led up to the esteemed school.

"It's Mr. Aizawa... Y/N! I wouldn't put it past him..." Mina panicked out, before she turned around and saw her black-horned counterpart struggle to catch up to her. "Oh shoot!"

Mina quickly spun around on her heel and went to support Y/N, who, despite going out for the occasional fitness run to build up his stamina, instantly wrapped his arm around her shoulder as she helped them both up the hill. "Don't you conk out on me now, Babe! Put your back into it!" She encouraged him.

"Go beyond... Plus Ultra!" Y/N weakly lifted up his arm with his fist raised high, but he still helped Mina move a lot faster and not have her do all the work. "I really should've... set my alarm last night..."

Fuck... I really didn't mean to go all the way with this run! Holy shit!

"Want me to take over?" Scarlet asked, but he surprisingly shook his head.

As soon as you take over? My lungs will instantly make you retreat. Trust me, I'm doing you favor.

His manifestation chuckled nervously. "Eheh... good point!"

Mina, meanwhile, giggled at the odd situation they now found themselves in. "You set your alarm? Pfft, I just... wing it sometimes." Mina admitted.

"You telling me you rely on your natural body clock that much?" Y/N asked with widened eyes.

"Most of the time... I don't know what happened today though! I don't... cram my head into the books like you do!" Mina whined in frustration, earning her a somewhat puzzled look from her boyfriend.

"Hey! It does me good... thank you very much!" Y/N explained as he pouted at her comment, but they both broke into a fit of giggles once they hobbled their way through the U.A Barrier. "Heh, talk about weird though. I accidentally sleep in without an alarm and you just managed to do the same. You think... it's destiny? Y/N snickered, attempting to alleviate both him and Mina from their otherwise... dire... situation.

She rolled her eyes with amusement. "Destiny for us to run into each other and run like... our lives depended on it?" Mina smirked.

"What can I say? The world works in mysterious... ways." Y/N chuckled. Mina continued to carry him by the shoulder until they passed through the front doors, where she was assured by Y/N that he could walk the rest of the way.

Normally Y/N wouldn't get this puffed out when it came to jogging, or more so running since that was what he did for most of the journey. The rush was that serious to him that he actually didn't take a single break in between his transition from a light jog to a full on run, though that was mainly thanks to what time it was. And while Mina also lived closer to the school than her partner did, she still pushed herself quite a bit since she accidentally slept in a lot later than he did.
