One Fine Day

"Hmm..." I heard my alarm clock ringing.

5:30 a.m

Argh! I want to sleep more but I can't, my new school starts at f-cking 7:00 in the morning. I mean seriously?! I can't keep doing this until I graduate High School. Darn! I miss my old school, they start at 8:30 a.m, cool right? But--

"Cathy! Take a shower, handa na ang almusal." My mom shouted. Yes, don't get confused...this story is tagalog, I just like speaking in english cuz' I'm much more comfortable with it.

The name is Cathy Sanchez, 16 years old, a High School Senior. Hindi naman sa pagmamayabang but I came from a wealthy family, my Dad runs a luxury hotel and restaurant  while my Mom runs 3 coffee shops and 2 pastry shops. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a spoiled brat...but I can be very bitchy sometimes. I love reading, eating and sleeping. I hate sports, I have black straight hair, brown eyes, pale skin and I'm quite chubby but not fat. Yeah, you read it correcly. I'm not Ms. Perfect like other girls in stories. I'm also smart which leads me being the top 2 of my class, I really really love the color blue and Kpop is my song preference.

I jumped out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Hay nako! Why did my parents transfer me to another school? The hell! Last year ko na sa high school, yeah right! I'm having fun at my old school...even though I don't have friends not even one. Well, Let's just say that I'm not very sociable, likeable or clingy. Maybe this is the result of being an only child, haha! I'm not used to anyone around me.

After getting ready I lazily went down stairs to the kitchen.

"Good Morning Princess, excited for your first day?" Dad asked me while reading the newspaper. I kissed his cheek before sitting down.

"Why the hell should I be excited? I don't like that crappy school." I answered while playing my scrambled eggs with a fork.

"Watch your mouth Cathy! Hindi mo pa nga nakikita eh, I'm sure you'll LIKE your new school." Mom said while setting a plate of pancakes on the table.

"I already LOVED my old school, why bother transferring me?" Gosh! This is so frustrating! I barely sleep thinking what could be the reason, during summer break I clearly told my parents that I will still be going to Ever Green High (My old school) but a week before school, I found out that my parents enrolled me to a new one.

"You really wanna know princess? Sigurado akong hindi mo magugustuhan ang dahilan namin." Dad put down the newspaper and sipped his coffee while mom sitted beside him.

"Just tell me dad!"

Dad.

"Mrs. Fernandez? Yeah! She's my favorite teacher, not to mention she's been with me my whole life." I'm not being sarcastic here, it's true although I find it weird sometimes that Mrs. Fernandez has been my adviser since nursery up until Junior High.
