We all ask ourselves what we want to be. From a young age, everyone has something that drives them forward. Whether it be family, friends, or a passion, we all care for something, we all want something. Me? I wanted to help people just like you did.

The sun was bright, shining through the window of Lucy's bedroom. On any other morning she would've pulled her pillow over her head, shielding herself from the mornings evil rays, but this particular morning was special.

This was the morning that would change her entire life. The morning where she would get to finally attend Fairy Tail, Fiore's most famous and prestigious, from what she had heard, wizarding school.

It had taken some convincing she would be honest, but, she was sure her father was happy to get her out of his way.

After all, she had made it rather clear she would not be taking over the family's business, and rather, follow in her mother's footsteps of becoming a celestial wizard. She glanced at her packed bags and brief pang of anxiety overwhelmed her.

"This is the morning that will change everything." She whispered, moving to face herself in the mirror. She slammed her hands down on the desk and gives herself a harsh stare. "I can do it. Fairy tail has been my dream for as long as I can remember." And she owed it all to a particular fire wizard. After meeting him in the middle of a fishing town, she never would've imagined he would've been her ticket to getting into this school.

She had simply been in the wrong place at the right time, and Natsu had broken a spell for her. Next thing she knew they were sitting and talking for hours over lunch, with a particularly annoying blue cat, where she had discovered Natsu was a fairy tail wizard.

From what she had thought, fairy tail was difficult to get into. The school started from such a young age and went all the way to your 12th year. She didn't think it was even possible to transfer into it without starting from the beginning, and yet here she was. She would be transferring into the year twelve class with Natsu and that calmed her down a bit.

The two had stayed in touch after Natsu had helped her submit her application over the summer, and before she knew it the day had arrived. There were dorms on the school campus and she was beyond ecstatic to be able to have some real friends, she had already counted Natsu as one of her closest friends and the two had only spent one summer together.

She supposed Happy, the aforementioned annoying blue cat, was also a close friend. Natsu never seemed to be without happy and vice versa, it was kind of adorable if Lucy was being honest.

It didn't take Lucy long to get ready what with how excited she was. She was ready to leave this big empty house and finally chase her dreams. To go on adventures and learn about magic and how to help people in today's confusing magic infused world.

Her phone pinged on the dresser and she didn't need to look to know it was Natsu. She gently combed her fingers through her wet hair, lifting the phone to her face.

Natsu🔥: hey Lucy bet you're psyched about today don't forget to meet me and happy under the big oak tree in campus. You'll know it when you see it! There's some people I want to introduce you to!
Lucy✨: got it. I'll be sure to be there, can't wait!
Natsu🔥: :D

Lucy hugged her phone to her chest, excited to finally meet new friends. Class would be starting Monday, and she had today, Saturday and Sunday to settle into campus life.
From what she understood, a lot of the students attending fairy tail lived there full time and never left. She would have her own dorm on campus, in the girls building of course, but the idea of living alone made her slightly lonely. Maybe it was because she basically lived alone now.

She wouldn't let it bother her, she needed to get it together and head out. Snatching her bags in her hands she double checked her hip for her keys and excitedly set out to start her life. This was the beginning of something amazing. This was the beginning of her life, the beginning of something magical.
