Like y'all know, in that book, Skye and Marshall are dating. But Chase has a crush on Skye. Somehow Chase finally wins Skye's heart and be her boyfriend. Since then, Marshall is single.
Meanwhile, Everest actually has a crush on Marshall. But when she knows Marshall loves Skye, she gave up and a little angry with Marshall. Ever since she found out that Marshall doesn't love her, she doesn't want to play with other pups at the lookout anymore.
