Frida waved to me as I walked away. I waved back. When I arrived my mom was making dinner and I couldn't find my dad. I found it best to not ask/talk about the other parent when talking to the other. "Hey mom?" "Yes sweetie?" Replied my mom (Rachel).
"So... I met a friend at school..." I said hesently, "invited my for sleepover... so I was wondering if I could go over for the night." "Um... is your friend a girl or boy?" Asked mom. "My friend is a girl and her name is Frida."
"Um, sure." Said Rachel, "just be home around 12:00 AM." "I will!" I said happily, "Love you!" My mom just lightly smiled at me. I went up to my room to pack my stuff.
I looked at the top bunk, all made as it was left. I started to think about my sister.
-Flash back (3rd person)...-
Sydney was running from her sister. "You'll never get me!" She said laughing. Sydney and her sister were playing tag. Sydney's sister tackled Sydney. "Luna!" Sydney yelled, "You cheated!!" "No ho ho!" Luna said jokingly.
-Back to the present (and 1st person)...-
I continued to grab my stuff. I packed one book, my phone, my cactus plush, Bendy PJs, and a specific charm. I put them all in my pink cat bag.
I walked outside, and then go to Frida's. "Hey!" Jake said waving to me, "Come on!" I walked over to Frida's house porch and walked over to Jake. "Give me five!" He said joyfully. I looked at the fact that he had all six of his hands up.
I high-fived each one. I smiled at me. Frida came out from inside the house and welcomed us in. Slua Álainn (the crow) flew in and land on Jake's shoulder. And Madra went on my lap.
