The final task had finally arrived. Harry and Cassandra were more on edge and nervous than ever. They didn't know what they would be facing there. Cassandra and Harry met up in the dining hall a half hour before they were supposed to be at the task.
"Harry, I'm nervous." Cassandra starts. "I have a bad feeling about this. What if someone gets hurt?"
"It's a school event, so I'm sure we'll all be safe." Harry replied. "I understand where you're coming from though. It's going to be a long and scary journey, but nothing we can't handle!"
"Thanks Harry." Cassandra said, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"The champions to go first into the maze are Cedric Diggory and the Potter twins. Following them will be Viktor Krum and Fleur Delacour. Our first three to go in first are able to go in on the sound of the cannon."
The cannon blew and Cassandra and Harry started walking towards the maze. The hedges were really tall. They were instructed to send red sparks if in trouble and needing to get out.
Harry and Cassandra make their way into the maze. Cassandra keeps looking over at Harry and he keeps giving her a reassuring nod in response.
Viktor Krum comes peeking around the corner. His eyes were glossy and he appeared to be under some kind of spell.
"Avada ked-" Krum started but Cassandra interrupted him using the "stupefy" spell.
"Are you alright Harry?" Cassandra asks, blowing red sparks into the air.
"Just peachy." Harry replied.
Cedric comes around the same corner that Krum did and points his wand towards Krum, hearing what had happened just a couple of seconds ago.
"Don't. He's cursed." Harry said.
The trio makes their way deeper into the maze and pass Fleur who was tied up by vines being pulled under the wall of the maze.
"Up ahead! Look!" Cassandra shouts.
Up ahead was the cup. They step onto the platform, each looking at one another to see who would grab the cup first.
"You two take it. You guys deserved it." Cedric insisted.
"No." Harry said.
"You deserve it too." Cassandra said.
"All of us on three." Cedric said.
"One."
"Two."
"Three."
They each grab a handle of the cup and are immediately transported into a graveyard.
"This doesn't look like Hogwarts." Cassandra said, standing up.
"That's because it's not." Harry said, pointing out a gravestone.
It has all of the Riddles on there, including Tom Riddle. Cassandra looks around and a hooded figure comes out towards the trio. It is holding a small child-like thing. Wormtail. Wormtail is the one holding the small child-like thing.
"Get rid of the spare." The small child-like thing speaks.
"No!" Cassandra yells.
"Avada Kedavra." Wormtail said, pointing his wand towards Cedric.
Cedric falls to the ground with a thud.
"Cassie, look for the cup and hide!" Harry said.
Cassandra nods. She doesn't move quick enough and Wormtail catches both her and Harry with his wand. He forces them against the grim reaper and locks them in its arms.
"Do it! Now." The voice said.
Wormtail plops the child-like thing into the cauldron.
"Bone of the father, unwillingly given." Wormtail plops a bone into the cauldron. "Flesh of the servant, willingly sacrificed."
Wormtail cuts off his other hand and lets it plop into the cauldron.
"And blood of the enemy, forcibly taken."
Wormtail cuts Cassandra and Harry, putting their blood into the cauldron.
"The Dark Lord, shall rise..." Wormtail begins. "Again!"
Voldemort appears. Cassandra is screaming in pain, the lightning bolt scar burning on her shoulder. Cassandra and Harry are let down from the grim reaper.
"I am going to kill you Harry and Cassandra Potter." Voldemort said, getting closer to the twins. "I'm going to destroy you. After tonight, no one will ever again question my powers. After tonight, if they speak of you, they'll speak only of how you begged for death. And I will be the merciful Lord. Obliged. Get up!"
Voldemort forced Cassandra and Harry up, both of them withering in pain.
"Don't you dare turn your back on me Potter twins! I want you to look at me when I kill you! I want to see the light leave your eyes."
Harry and Cassandra stand up, slowly making their way towards Voldemort.
"Have it your way." Harry said.
"Expelliarmus!" The twins yell.
"Avada Kedavra!"
Their spells collide to form a Y.
Harry and Cassandra fight to make their side win. Ghosts appear. Lily and James Potter. Cedric Diggory.
Cedric turns to Harry, asking him to bring his body to his dad. Lily and James look down at their children.
"Brooklyn Potter is alive." James told Cassandra.
Cedric turns to Cassandra and said, "I love you."
"I love you more." Cassandra said with tears rolling down her face.
Something happens and the spell fades. Harry grabs Cassandra's hand, who is holding Cedric and yells, "Accio cup!"
They are transported back to the start of the maze. Everyone is cheering for them.
"Help! Someone is dead!" Harry yelled.
Dumbledore and Cornelius Fudge made their way over to the Potter twins. Cheering is still going on because nobody had realized that Cedric was dead.
Amos Diggory yelled, "That's my son! My poor boy!"
"We saw his ghost and he asked us to bring his body back to you." Cassandra told Amos.
Everyone stopped cheering. Looks of sadness and terror go over everyone's faces.
