*Start of Flashback*
I get in the cab and call Jose.
"Hey babe!"
"Hey, how was the dance?" I tell him all about the dance and how much fun it was.
"You should've come. It was so much fun"
"I know I immediately wanted to go once I seen you in that dress." I laugh
"SHUT UP!" He laughs. How I love that laugh.
"So you know some people were asking me where were you. I had to tell them that you didn't come and they proceeded to ask if we were dating like what!" I laugh nervously.
"I HATE WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT!"
"it's okay babe chill"
"I'm sorry just I hate when they do that. Like mind your business."
"I know, I just told that that we were just friends."
"Oh that's what your telling people?"
"what am I supposed to say? That we're dating? Because you made it very clear we aren't"
"You tell them the truth"
"And that is...?"
"That I'm your bestfriend"
"AWWEEE" I start tearing up and wipe my eyes.
"You better not be crying because if you are I will beat your ass"
"Ok! ok! Sorry jeez!!" I laugh and we continue to talk about the whole bestfriend thing. I arrived at my house and see my mom standing outside waiting for me.
"Hey, I got to go. I love you bestfriend!"
"I love you too" awe! Fuck man, why he had to say it back. Now my dumbass is gonna fall for him harder. Ugh. I walk out of the car into my house and go upstairs.
