Chapter 58 ● A whole lot more to talk about ○

"I wasn't lying when I said there's a lot to talk about, is everyone free at the moment?" Calum asks his friends.
"I got nothing to do right now" Luke replies to him. "I don't have anything to do either" Michael replies. "I'm free at the moment" Ashton replies to him.

"Okay, to be honest I don't really know where to start so you ask me stuff and I'll answer them" Calum tells them. "What did you do as a vampire?" Michael asks him. "I killed about five people and I couldn't stop myself from listening to everything Darren was telling me to do and that's basically all that happened, I still feel guilty for murdering those innocent people though" he replies to him. "You weren't yourself, it's not your fault" Luke replies to him. "That's not true" Calum replies back in a sad tone. "All those deaths are on Darren, he was in control of your actions so he's to blame" Michael replies to him. "Yeah I guess, anyways next question" Calum tells them.

"What happened after you came back from wherever you went that made you realise there's a lot more to talk about?" Luke questions Calum. "Well, I went to the park and then I saw a missing person post of one of the people I murdered as a vampire, then I go to visit the therapist person I was visiting to talk about my problems and it turns out that all this time it was Darren posing as a therapist that he murdered and that's awful cause he murdered someone that didn't deserve to die and I had trusted him with a lot of things I didn't want Darren to know" he answers him. "Oh my God! That's terrible, there was no way you could have known the truth earlier though, he made sure that you wouldn't know by not revealing much of his identity to you" Ashton replies to him. "Yes, but I had recognised his voice in the start, I thought nothing of it at the time and just let it slide when I should have tried to think about who the voice belonged to" Calum tells them. "No one thinks to think about stuff like that until the worst possible thing happens, so there's nothing that could have prevented that from happening" Michael replies to him. "You're right, okay, what's next?" Calum asks them.

"If vampires can't enter people's houses unless they're invited in by the person who lives there, how is it that Darren and Valley entered your house when Darren first started messing with your head without you inviting either of them in?" Ashton asks him. "Wait, I completely forgot about that, I don't know the answer to that to be honest, now I'm curious too" he replies to him. "I guess, we'll just have to ask them" he adds to his reply.

"How did we manage to see you before you got taken by that monster while you were trapped in Darren's mind?" Michael asks Calum. "I'm not sure about the answer to that either" Calum replies to him. "Another thing to add to your ask Darren list" Ashton replies to him. "You know what" Calum tells them. "What?" Luke questions. "I'm gonna set up a meeting with Darren, Cade, Valley and Daphne soon" Calum answers. "Why?" Ashton asks. "So we can get answers to unanswered questions" Calum replies. "Speaking of questions, I have one" Michael replies to Calum. "Okay, ask it" he replies back.

"Did Darren and Cade give you food and something to drink while you were trapped in their minds or your own mind or whatever?" Michael asks Calum. "Of course they did or I wouldn't be alive right now, even though I literally cheated death like three times" he replies to him. "Three times?" Luke asks him to confirm. "Yep, Valley turned me into a vampire twice and then Darren turned me into a vampire once" he confirms. "What was your favourite thing about being a vampire whilst you were one?" Michael asks Calum. "There's a lot loved about being a vampire and my favourite thing about being one changes a lot, but at the moment it's how quick I could get from one place to another like I could approach someone who's about a whole room away from me within 5 seconds" he replies to him. "That sounds awesome" Michael replies back to Calum. "It was" he responds to him.

"Are you sure it's a good idea to set up a meeting with the people you mentioned?" Ashton asks Calum. "Not really, but it's the only way to find out the answers to the questions we don't have the answers to" He replies to him. "When and where is it happening and can we come too?" Luke asks Calum. "Tomorrow or sometime later in the near future at the nightclub at around 8:00 pm or something and sure all of you can come if you want" he replies to him.

"Darren?" Calum calls him. "Yes pup" he replies to him through his thoughts. "Don't call me pup! Will you be able to meet me at the nightclub at 8:00 pm tomorrow?" He questions him. "Sure, I'll be there" he answers him. "Good, I'll see you then" he replies to him.

"Did you seriously ask him that?" Luke questions him. "Yep, one down three to go" he answers him. "Do you have contact with everyone else?" Michael asks him. "I have Valley and Daphne's numbers and I'll just have one of them tell Cade about it" he replies to him. "So, this is really happening huh?" Ashton asks him. "Yes it is" he replies to him.

Calum then picks up his phone and calls Daphne. "Hi Daphne" he greets her through the phone. "Hi Calum, what's up?" She greets him. "Will you be able meet me at the nightclub at 8:00 pm tomorrow and spread the word to Cade too?" He tells her. "Sure, we'll be there" she replies to him. "Okay see you then bye" he replies to her. He then hangs up the call.

Daphne then calls Cade after she finished her call with Calum. "Hi" she greets him through the phone. "Hey Daph" he greets back. "Calum wants to meet up with us at the nightclub tomorrow at 8:00 pm, you coming?" She asks him. "Okay, I'll be there" he replies to her. "I knew you'd agree, see you then, bye" she replies to him. "Bye" he replies cutting the call.

"Now I just need to call Valley" Calum thinks out loud. "When was the last when all of them were in the same room at once?" Ashton asks Calum. "I'm not sure if it's happened yet" he replies to him. Calum then calls Valley. "Hey" he greets her through the phone. "Hi, is everything alright?" She greets and asks him. "Yeah, everything is fine, I was wondering if you're free to meet me at the nightclub at 8:00 pm tomorrow?" He asks her. "Sure, I'll be there" she replies to him. "Okay I'll see you then, bye" he replies to her. "Bye, see you later" she replies hanging up the call.

This could go really well or end up being disastrous... I really hope it's the first option Calum thinks to himself.
