It was Lily's first year at Hogwarts even though she is going into her 6th year. She was excited as ever as she stood there will excitement and Joy on my face when I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I turned around like the speed of light just to see Harry. Harry and I have been best friends since we we're 2 when my family moved next door to his house and we just became friends he was like a little brother. He has awful parents that don't even care about him and only their biological son who was a complete jerk. Harry's brother has never been nice to me so when he annoyed me I punched him in the face but I always made sure Harry was staying with mine for the night so he wouldn't get punished and everytime those evil goblins came to complain to my parents they'd take my side and say "well good for her" and they would huff and puff back to their house and me and Harry would just laugh. So i was happy when I knew be was coming to Hogwarts.
I saw a boy with blonde hair l struggling to put his bag in the train. I ran over and said "Hi do you need help" He didn't answer so I just helped we shoved it on and he stood up and put his hand out and said "Hi I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" I shook his hand and replied with "Hi I'm Lily Wilson" he smiled bit then saw Harry come behind me and hug me and looked furious "Hello Pottah" Draco snickered "Hello Malfoy" Harry replied giving him a dirty look almost like protecting me pulling me away from Draco "Lily do you want to go on the train with me" Draco said holding out his hand I nodded and Harry whispered "be careful OK" I nodded and I went along with Draco.
We got on the train and I sat next to Draco and he introduced me to two boys and a girl. Be started saying "this is Crabbe, Goyel and that's Pansy" I put my hand out to great them but they just laughed as I did that and I retracted my arm back into my lap I sat there awkwardly until Draco said "so what are your parents name and what's their job in the wizarding world" oh no this is gonna be awkward "well my parents are Lisa Wilson and Tom Wilson I'm adopted so I don't know who my biological ones are but my parents are well what you call them Muggles" he sort of was shocked but then warmed up to the statement I looked at the clock and realized I said I would be back to Harry by now "I'm so sorry I have to go" I said giving Draco a hug and then hurrying to find Harry. I got in and saw the two kids I saw before "sorry Harry " I said sitting next to him he nodded and said "Lily this is Hermione and Ron, guys this is Lily" I smiled and held out my hand and shook both of their hands but I reckonised Hermione from somewhere oh that's right I've seen her walking out of a school my parents never let me go they home schooled me and when ever they could they would school Harry to. I just smiled and sat down in silence I didn't speak the whole time I was lost on thought when Harry snapped me back saying "Lily we're hear, come on" I stood up and walked out with Harry when I ran into Draco who was in front of me "oh I'm so sorry" I say helping him up from the floor he nodded a kept walking he seemed nice but it's like he hates Harry.
We were standing outside Hogwarts this was incredible the detail on it was amazing nothing like London. Harry grabbed my hand I could tell he was nervous Ron came over and put his arm around Harry we walked into a massive hall and Draco was next to me I smiled at him and he smiled back.
I walked up to the hat as the professor called my name. Harry had gotten into Gryfindor so did Ron and Hermione but Draco got Slytherin. I sat on the chair Harry nodded reassuring me I nodded back and the hat barely touched my head but yelled "Slytherin" how how did I get in Slytherin I saw Harry's face frown as I walked towards the table. Draco told me to sit next to him before I went to the sorting hat. I sat next to Draco and he put his arm around me and smiled I looked over towards Harry and saw him upset and a tear rolled down his face. I quietly snuck over to him but before I did I whispered to Draco "Harry's upset" he nodded and let me go.
I got over and hugged him he was surprised and hugged me back "your eyes look like my mothers" he whispered he always told me that he must relate my name with his mothers I know it comforts him when he's stressed. "ok I've got to go now" I whispered before slithering off I got back next to Draco and I saw a note in my pocket from Harry I pulled it out and I felt Draco looking at the letter I read it and it said "meet me in the room of requirement" I knew where it was as Draco showed me I smiled and nodded to Harry he smiled and looked up front. Wait is this a date or a friend date.
