Bluewater, California is known for two things: its tourist attractions and its schools. Or namely, two specific schools that have been feuding for years. No one knows why the fighting and the pranks between the students of Don Marie Prep and Bluewater High began, but one calm day, war was declared. The city, split nearly evenly in half by the train tracks running through it and declaring the turf of those going to DMP and those going to BWH, has never been the same since.
Winnifer St. Claire is the renowned daughter of the governor of Bluewater, and the girlfriend of DMP's ruling king, Samuel Colt. Average, opinionated, stubborn, hot-tempered, and on a full-ride scholarship to Don Marie. By some miracle, she has managed to avoid the feud between the two schools and has stayed mostly out of the public eye.
Enter Elijah Beldon. Samuel's counterpart, the ruling man of Bluewater High, his name is whispered among the students of BHS and feared by everyone. A legend in the town. He is not just a bad boy, he is the bad boy, the one every person knows and talks about but would never confess to doing so. His pranks are the cruelest, most ingenious, and often targetted at Sam. A single mistake, however, and Elijah's sights become set on Winny.
But despite her seemingly damsel-in-distress appearance, she not content to simply lie down and let Samuel take all the hits for her. The war has begun, and this time, there's more mixed into it than just a sense of pride.
