"Can... Can we talk, Tubbo?"

Tubbo nodded, walking over to Dream and sitting beside him.

"So... What's up?"

Dream turned to face Tubbo, and broke down. He didn't mean to, really, but... Tubbo looked so trustworthy...

"I-I-I didn't want-t to st-start a war!" Dream was sobbing now. Slowly, Tubbo brought Dream into a hug, trying to comfort the man. "I-I just want-ted rules! To k-keep evero-one safe!"

Dream clung to Tubbo.

Funny how someone who's supposed to be the enemy is the greatest comfort.

"I-It's all m-my fault, isn't i-it!?"

Tubbo was slightly angry. Not just at Wibur and L'Manburge, but at himself as well. It all made sense now. Dream isn't the kind of person to make rules just because. Or start a war just because.

Accually, Dream starting a war, even with a reason wasn't very likely.

Bringing the older closer, Tubbo seemed to cradle the crying man.

Dream was only four years older than him, still pretty young, if you asked him.

"No Dream... I'm sorry we revolted... Thinking back there wasn't even a reason..."

"T-Tubbo... I'm s-so sor-rry you have t-to fight..."

How did Dream know about that?

Looking up from Tubbos chest where he was crying into, he saw the condused look on the teens face.

"Can we g-go somewhere more p-private? Like th-that garden of yours?"

Now Tubbo was really confused. "How did you kno-" Suddenly, Tubbo was pulled up off the ground, he hadn't evem noticed that Dream had gotten up.

Dream grabbed Tubbo's hand, and dragged the boy through the forest, untill they came across Tubbo's garden.

Sitting down, Dream motioned for Tubbo to follow. And the boy did.

Reduced to sniffing, Dream explained himself, "I'm sorry... I know you meant to keep this secrect, but yesterday I heard humming, and..."

"So... you found it?"

"Yeah, I did... Don't worry though! I'll keep it a secret... I'm tired of watching things burn..."

"But I only hummed during-"

"The battle? Yeah... I don't like seeing all the massacre, and blood... I'd rather be smelling flowers."

Tubbo stared at Dream, surprised. He searched the boys movement for any dishonesty, and happily saw none.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I used to visit your garden, untill Sapnap burned it down. And I was ecstatic when I saw your second one. I expected you to make a third when the second one burnt down, but it never showed up."

Dream liked his gardens?

"You... You came to my gardens?"

"Well, yeah! They were the only thing making me happy... When they stopped, I started my own. I kept it secret though, untill..."

"What happened?"

"I-I... Tommy followed my and... I watched it burn to the ground..."

Dream was crying again. Not sobbing, he just had light tears running down his cheeks.

"Do you want to stay in my garden?"

Looking at Tubbo, Dream saw happiness in the boy's eyes. He couldn't say no, but wasn't planning to anyways.
