Chapter 1

Alex POV

It's my first day of college. I have no friends, all my family is dead, it's just me against the world. I should probably meet my new roommates even though I don't plan to hang out with them much. But before I can meet them I have to find my dorm. I go up to the front desk of the dorm building and sign to the lady at the desk. Do you know where my dorm is, my name is Alexander Hamilton. She looked at me funny but then a tall ... well tall to me saying I'm 5'4, handsome young boy came to the desk and translated what I signed. The lady at the desk told me my dorm number and the handsome man said he was in the dorm across the hall and he would show me where to go. I nodded as he started to lead the way. On the way he asked if I was a selective mute or it was a condition or something along those lines. Selective I sign and he nods. We reached the dorms and he put his and out for me to shake it, I take it and shake his hand "I'm John Laurens. Do you want to come over later? My roommates and I were going to watch some Disney movies and stuff tonight if you want to join"

I'll think about it. But I'm probably going to get settled and work on some essays I sign

"Ok, the offer still stands, we will probably start around 7 so if you decide to come just knock on the door." I nod and open the door to my dorm and wave bye to John. When I walk into my dorm there's a short man who looks like he has a cold, and a taller man who is just kind of there. The first one to notice me is the shorter man he looks at me before asking "are you Alexander Hamilton? If so I'm your roommate James Madison and this is John jay, he lives here too but will often be at his boyfriend's dorm." I nod and sign yes I'm Alexander, it's nice to meet you both, which room is mine? John jay looks very confused but James translated what I said. "I'm glad I know asl, your room is the one next to the kitchen, and it's nice to meet you too, we'll let you get unpacked and everything." 

A/n: I'm sorry it's so short. Alex will have ptsd and depression. Alex will also have an abusive past, what is written about abuse will be mostly based off of my experience with abuse. Hope you enjoy my book! there wont be smut and there wont be much angst it will mainly be fluff.
