Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.
A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang, and although his airbending—whoa, what the heck? Who in the world was that? Well... as I was saying, his airbending skills are great, but he has a lot to learn—who are you?
You mean spirits? No, we don't have gods here. You mean Tui? What's a Poseidon? How are you doing that?
Anyways... once Aang finishes mastering the other elements, we'll apparently have two half-god freaks of nature to help us as well, so I think we'll end up winning this war more easily than I expected.
