It was a day like any other day. The three spirits of the Triforce were playing their normal game of tag, and just like every other game of tag, the two boys of the Triforce were arguing amongst themselves. Hylia sighed to herself. They were constantly at each other's throats. It had gotten to the point where Wisdom, the only girl of the trio, would stay inside reading books, not wanting to have her fun ruined.
It was even starting to aggravate the Goddess herself. Everyday she would have to separate the two boys before they hurt each other. Hylia was known among the mortals as a Goddess with patience that could make a Monk jealous. However, when it came to the two boys, Courage and Power, she was constantly annoyed. Wisdom has constantly been a shut in because of those two.
She was about to get up when Fi had her sit back down and point to the boys. Ghirahim already had them in a wrist lock and was reprimanding them. She got up, despite Fi's wishes, and thanked Ghirahim. He just nodded towards the castle that rested in the sacred garden that Hylia worked so hard on creating. She knew what he wanted. Of course she knew. She knew her most trusted weapons and knights almost as much as she knew her children, the Triforce spirits.
What could she do other than to do what he asked? It might come as a surprise considering the Ghirahim everyone knows was evil and constantly after Zelda's Triforce, but that's not how he always used to be. He cared about Wisdom the most, seeing her as a little sister. He wasn't a big fan of the other two, but he could deal. Hylia asked Ghirahim to watch the two boys as she made her way towards the castle.
She made her way up the stairs towards the bedroom Wisdom resided in. She knocked once, twice, three times before she got the ok to come in. Waiting inside was, of course, Wisdom. Who looked as if she had just came off her balcony. The Goddess asked the spirit if she was ok.
Sad, and finished with the boys constant fighting, all Wisdom could say was how she wished there was another girl. Someone to have fun with and keep the peace. Someone who was willing to spend time with her. After all the young spirit was getting lonely.
The Goddess, hearing the pleas of the spirit, granted the wish. She worked endlessly on creating a fourth Triforce. When the Triforce was done, she worked many more sleepless nights to make the spirit that was to inhabit this piece. By the end, she had created the Triforce of Balance. Later known as the Triforce of Peace.
Balance's color was purple. A color that was calm, yet intimidating. A color that would soothe a child. As far as Hylia knew, she needed this color to represent balance. The color would surely soothe Courage and Power if she herself couldn't do it. With the Spirit, and the Triforce it represents made, she awakened the sleeping girl. The girl, now awakened, looked around. She noticed the Goddess before her.
When she saw the Goddess, she knew her purpose. She smiled at the Goddess, thanking her for life. She then made her way towards the area where the boys were out playing tag again. Balance made it just before another fight broke out. Courage and Power were already yelling at each other.
Balance got the two boys attention, never once getting annoyed, and said, "Brothers, be at peace, there is no need to fight." Power and Courage, feeling an overwhelming amount of peace flowing through them, looked at each other and apologized.
Hylia came out, Wisdom in tow, and saw all this happen. She was ecstatic! Little did she know that this would all lead to the demise of her sanctuary. Little did she know that these peaceful moments wouldn't last long.
Little did she know that she had created something that was not meant to be created.
