Cassandra didn't want to admit it, but Draco Malfoy was insanely attractive. She had accidentally bumped into him on the train and she noticed how much he had grown. He now towered over her and he gained more muscle. He had definitely hit puberty and lost all the baby weight.
Cassandra and Hermione got off the train and headed to find the boys.
"There you guys are." Cassandra said as they reached the boys on the platform.
"Surprise that the Ministry is letting you walk around free Potters. I bet there's a cell in Azkaban with your name on it." Draco sneers as he's walking with his friends.
"You really want to start Malfoy?" Cassandra said, trying to walk closer to Draco but Ron held her back.
"C'mon guys let's go." Hermione said.
The four of them start to walk towards the carriages. The walk was silent but peaceful. They waited for another carriage to pull up since the last one was full.
"What's that pulling the carriages?" Cassandra asked.
"I see it too." Harry said.
"There's nothing pulling the carriages just as always." Hermione replied.
"Yes there is," Cassandra and Harry said in unison.
"You're just as sane as I am." A voice behind the four speaks.
Cassandra turns around and is face to face with Luna Lovegood.
"Luna! Oh my goodness!" Cassandra said, giving her childhood best friend a hug.
"Looks like you two don't need an introduction. Guys this is Looney-I mean Luna Lovegood." Hermione said.
"Nice to meet you." Harry said awkwardly, rubbing his neck.

"Now this year we have a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Please welcome Dolores Umbridge. Now-"
"Ahem." A short lady dressed in pink interrupts. "Thank you. Now here at Hogwarts, there will be order and discipline. I hope we can be best friends."
"Returning this year, we have Jack Dawson and he will be sort of a guidance counselor." Dumbledore continues.
"That lady was at my trial!" Harry whisper-yelled.
"Are you sure?" Cassandra asked.
"Yes!"
Hermione and Cassandra exchange glances.
"Do you know what this means?" Hermione asked.
"The Ministry is interfering at Hogwarts." Cassandra finished.
~~
A piece of paper was flying around the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Cassandra and Hermione sat together whereas Ron and Harry were sitting together, behind the Patil twins. Seamus hits the piece of paper sending it flying towards Crabbe who hits it with a slingshot. Abruptly, the piece of paper catches fire and lands on the Patil twin's desk.
"Good morning children." Professor Umbridge said, walking up behind Cassandra and Hermione. "Ordinary Wizarding Levels examinations. O, W, Ls, more commonly known as OWLs."
Umbridge writes out on the board with her wand.
"Study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so and the consequences may be severe. Your previous instruction in this subject has been disturbingly uneven. But you'll be pleased to know from now on you'll be following a carefully instructed Ministry approved course of defensive magic. Yes?"
"There's nothing in here about using defensive spells." Hermione spoke up.
"Using spells? I can't imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom." Umbridge said, walking closer to Hermoine and Cassandra.
"We're not going to use magic?" Ron asked.
"We'll be learning about defensive spells in a secure risk-free way." Umbridge said.
"What use is that if we're going to be attacked? It won't be risk-free." Harry said without raising his hand.
Cassandra shoots a warning glance at Harry.
"Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class." Umbridge yelled. "It is the view of the Ministry that a theoretical knowledge will be sufficient to get you through your examinations, which is what this school is all about."
"And how's that theory supposed to prepare us for what's out there?" Harry questioned.
Cassandra shoots another warning glance at Harry.
"There's nothing out there dear. Who do you imagine wants to attack children like yourself?"
"I don't know, maybe Lord Voldemort?" Cassandra spoke up.
Whispers spread through the classroom.
"Now let me make this quite plain. You have been told that a certain Dark Wizard is at large once again. This is a lie."
"It's not a lie!" Harry exclaimed.
"We saw him! We fought him!" Cassandra said.
"Detention to both Mr. Potter and Ms. Potter." Umbridge cackled.
"So according to you Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own accord." Harry said, pushing the limits.
Cassandra's heart dropped at the mention of Cedric.
"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident!"
"It was murder. Voldemort killed him. You must know that." Cassandra replied.
"See me later Potter twins. In my office."
~~
A couple weeks have passed and Harry and Cassandra had their detention. Umbridge used some sort of poison which made the ink show up on their arms and it burnt them. Umbridge was really the only teacher to be handing out detentions. Not even Snape was.
Cassandra was currently sitting in the common room, reading, when Hermione interrupted her.
"Cassie?" Hermione asked.
"Yes?"
"Someone wants to speak to you." Hermione said.
Cassandra got up. She wondered who would want to speak to her right now. It was currently ten o'clock at night. Cassandra walked out of the portrait and saw someone leaning against the railing.
"Blaise, what are you doing here? It's past curfew."
"I wanted to see you, to tell you something."
"Okay, what is it?"
"Umbridge is starting something called her industrial squad. Draco wants me to do it with him. He doesn't particularly like Umbridge but he'd do anything to see you Potter boy get in trouble. It will most likely mean we can't speak to one another, since you're already on her bad side."
"That's a bunch of bullshit." Cassandra replied.
"I know Cassie. I'm sorry. I'll write to you, I promise."
