GEORGENOTFOUND'S POV

George blinked his eyes open sleepily. The room was dark, and he could hear Dream breathing steadily beside him. He shifted in bed, cuddling closer to the blonde, trying to fall asleep again. After what felt like half an hour of lying awake, trying to calm his train of completely random thoughts, George sat up, rubbing his eyes groggily. He leaned over and picked up his phone, idly clicking open Twitter. After a few minutes of scrolling, he came across a tweet that made him freeze.

@technoblad_simp_145 tweeted: Wtf, I thought Dream would look better. I'm unstanning and unfollowing.

@boohoocrackerboi tweeted: Yoo, Dream really do be gae and that do be disgusting...

And about a hundred of similar tweets.

George widened his eyes. He quickly shut off his phone, gently placing it back down on his nightstand.

Better keep Dream off Twitter for a while.

He lied back down, but Dream was already awake.

"Why're you awake?" Dream groggily muttered, stretching and narrowly missing George's face.

"Nothing. I just couldn't fall asleep." George lied, an uncomfortable twisting in his stomach.

"Close your eyes, at least." Dream mumbled, pulling George closer, burying his chin in George's hair. George consented, shutting his eyelids, and slowly drifting off to Dream's steady heartbeat, drumming in his ear.

When George next woke up, Dream was lying against his headboard, staring at his phone. The fact didn't register in his mind until a few seconds later, and he inadvertently tensed up. Dream noticed, and glanced down at George.

"You're awake! What's up?" Dream put down his phone, turning his attention to George.

"What're you doing?" George asked nonchalantly. Dream shrugged.

"Just reading some comments."

George bit his lip. Had the haters spread to YouTube as well? Dream picked his phone back up again.

George sat up, and leaned over, resting his chin on Dream's shoulder. He let out a quiet sigh, for most of the comments were supportive and kind.

After a few minutes, Dream put his phone down, and stretched, cracking his back. "Let's get up now. No point in wasting the morning if we're already awake."

George swung his legs out of bed, keen to not let Dream know there was anything wrong. Dream lazily sauntered over to his closet, and picked out a comfortable hoodie and sweatpants, and tossed an outfit at George's request. Once they both got dressed, George sneaked a look at Twitter.

Still a lot of hate.

George swallowed nervously, and hurriedly put his phone away. Dream was watching him curiously from across the room.

"What're you looking at?" He asked.

"Oh, nothing. Just... just Instagram." George lied, stammering a little.

Dream did a double take, but decided to let it pass. For now. Once Dream exited the room, George sat back down on the bed, resting his head on his left arm, and his left arm on his legs.
