It is now Monday. I was actually excited to go to school because I knew that Beomgyu would be there, my new friend. I went and go ready and put lipgloss on since I was feeling a little more confident in myself now that I'm not alone by myself at school.

When I go to school, I saw Beomgyu and ran up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. He flinched a little when I did that.
"H-hi Beomgyu" I shyly said
"O-oh hi, Soojun" he replied, clearly flustered. The day was quick, it ended and when school was about to end, Beomgyu asked me,
"What's your number??"
"O-oh I- U-uh, it's 416 *** ****" I choked. The day ended and I dragged my feet as I was walking home. I got home, showered and ate instant noodles for dinner. As I was doing my homework, I heard my phone ring. Curious, I went to check who messaged me. It was Beomgyu. I quickly opened my phone and read his message:

Hi Soojun!! Sorry for the sudden message, I just wanted to ask if uhm you could meet me at the park in 10 minutes. I uhm need to ask you something 😅

Oh, sure!! I'll be there soon ✌️

I closed my phone and put on a jacket and headed out the for to YE park, luckily it was still pretty bright and wasn't too late. I got the the park and Beomgyu was already there at the swings. I couldn't help but giggle because he looked so cute and tiny on that swing when in reality, he's nearly 2 heads taller than me.
"Hey Gyu!! What's up?" I asked and sat at the swing next to him.
"So u-uhm I know we just met like a couple days ago but I wanna ask...will you go on a date with me??" He said quickly. I was blushing. A lot. I stuttered and answered,
"S-sure!!" Then, Beomgyu hugged me. I was shocked for a moment but then I just hugged him back. I felt my shoulder getting wet. He was crying.
"Hey Gyu, why are you crying??" I chuckled as I hugged him.
"Sorry. I'm just really happy because I grew up being told that no one liked me and that's why I'm always so lonely. I'm just so happy that you're willing to go on a date with me. You probably don't like me in any weird way but I like you so I'm extremely happy" he said with a pout. I was really shocked. He just confessed to me.
"Gyu, don't think that I don't like you. I'll be thinking for a while. If anything, you'll still be my friend" I said, a little guilty somehow. Then, I started to cry as well. He hugged me and I hugged him and I was crying into his chest. I don't even know why I'm crying but I just am. I guess I just feel bad for Beomgyu. We eventually stopped crying and watched as the sun disappeared.
"Beomgyu, I have to go I'm sorry" I said, with puffy red eyes and red nose.
"It's ok. I'll see you tomorrow for our date" he said, also with a red nose and pink puffy eyes. His voice was shaky and sounded sad, but happy at the same time. I kissed him in the cheek and hugged him one last time before I left.
"See you tomorrow" I said with a smile. He stood frozen. I walked home and finished my homework. I think I've made up my decision. I like Beomgyu a whole lot.
