The debate

The tension in the air was deathly. Heavy. Hard to breathe.

Biden could feel Trump's deep blue eyes burning through him, analyzing every move his muscles made.

Trump intensely stared at Biden's furrowed lips - with every word Biden spoke, he interrupted, but Biden stood calm, unfazed by his teasings.

This caused Trump to grow even more furious, his cheeks turning a deep crimson red, a drop of sweat made his way down his cheek. He had to calm down.

The president took a deep, unsteady breath in, almost hissing through his teeth.

Biden continued this debate in a confident, calm, assertive, and smug manner. He stood proud and tall, a good 6'0 to be exact, even if Biden was shorter than trump, his presence and aura alone was enough to intimidated him.

Trump couldn't help but get distracted by Biden's features, his deep set eyes, snow white hair that shone like threads of silver, there was no doubt that this man was attractive. It was so tempting, but he couldn't give in, no matter what.

"Would you shut up already? Stop acting like an idiotic clown." Biden insulted, words stinging like peroxide.

It took a few seconds for Trump to take this in and snap back to reality. It was so sudden. He was genuinely hurt by this petty and meaningless remark. His heart growing a little empty, he knew he shouldn't have let his guard down, what was he expecting?

Trump slammed his fists on the debate podium, startling everyone in the room. It was too late to go back now,

"I hate you! You're so stupid!" Trump yelled out with every ounce of him. His eyes started to water, but before he could humiliate himself even more, he blinked his hot tears away and ran off the stage, knocking over the stage stand.

Trump found a secluded storage room in the back. His face was completely red at this point, eyes sore, heart heavy. He felt so light headed. Just as Trump was about to let out another sob, Biden knocked on the door.

"Hey, let me in.." Biden softly asked from behind the door. His voice was soft and soothing.

"No. Go away" Trump refused.

"Look, I'm sorry.." Biden pleaded

Trump let out a slight sniffle,

"Did you really mean that - what you said before"

"Of course not, you know it's only for the cameras. I would never say anything that would intentionally hurt you my love."

Trump hesitated to unlocked the closet door, maybe part of him was still scared of rejection, but he trusted Biden's word.

Biden stood there. The soft hallway lights shone on his face. The sight was beautiful.

He let out a soft smile and held his arms out, signaling a hug.

"I'm sorry saying all that too." Trump said before accepting Biden's warm embrace.

Letting out a sigh of relief he fell into Biden's arms, the smell of expensive cologne filled his node. It felt nice, he could stay like this forever.

"You know how much I love you right?" Biden asked, brushing a piece of Trump's golden locks away from his face.

Trump gazed into his eyes and all he could see was pure adoration, affection, and love.

"Of course, I love you.."

The end.
