Taehyung POV

I was sitting in Namjoon's studio while he was editing some of our songs. I've been sulking around ever since I found out that y/n wasn't coming back. It made me regret the day I realized I broke her heart.

"Taehyung." Namjoon said.

"Hm?" I looked at him.

"When you asked if you could come in here while I'm in the middle of editing, I thought you would at least help me out. You sitting in silence is actually more distracting."

I sighed. "I'm sorry. I can't stop thinking about y/n. Ever since we were told she's not coming back I've been having a hard time believing it. I'm just hoping she'll walk in through that door and everything will be normal."

"Well have you tried calling her like we told you to?"

I shook my head. "I've been too nervous to call her. I don't know how to tell her that I treated her like that because I was being blackmailed. How are we supposed to act like nothing happened if she ever forgave me?"

Namjoon clicked out of his music editor and swiveled his chair to look at me. "Look, I didn't know how to bring this up to you but...I talked to y/n a couple weeks ago."

I widened my eyes. "You what?"

"Taehyung." He looked at me with a serious expression. "Everyone except you was trying to get in contact with her. She would only talk to Nam Sung so I convinced her to let me call y/n under her name. I talked to her and told her everything that happened."

"You what?!" I stood up from my chair. "Hyung, how could you do that?"

"Because," he pushed down on my shoulder so I would sit back down. "You weren't doing anything. When we all found out that y/n wasn't coming back we all assumed you would apologize and try to get her back here. But seeing as you didn't, I took it into my own hands and called her myself."

"So..." I gulped nervously. "She knows everything? She knows the reason I acted cold towards her?"

He nodded his head. "She's really upset, Tae. But she's more disappointed that you couldn't tell her then and now. She thought your relationship was so much more than that."

"It is, though." Just saying that made my heart hurt. "I did this to protect her because I love her so much."

"And she understands that, but she's hurt of the way you did it. And from the fact that it's been almost a month since you've seen her and you still haven't contacted her, your window is closing."

Wow. It's been a month since I've seen y/n and it's only now hitting me that's it has been that long. I've been so numb to everything that time went by so fast. I spent this long not calling or messaging y/n. She probably wants nothing to do with me now.

I hung my head low. "She probably doesn't want anything to do with me anymore. I spent too long beating myself up and I haven't called her."

"It won't hurt to try." Namjoon said and handed my phone to me.

"Hyung, it's noon and it's around midnight over there. She could be asleep."

"Stop making excuses and just call her."

I sighed out nervously and found her number on my phone. I slowly pushed the call button and held it to my ear, listening to the rings.

It kept ringing and ringing, and I was slowly losing hope she would answer. But I heard a little click and my heart dropped as my pulse started racing.

"Taehyung." her sweet voice calling my name, but it sounded cold.

I cleared my throat and grabbed my translator. "H-hi y/n."
