DANNY'S POV

It's about twelve in the morning when Lucas laid down besides me. Nakita ko ang oras sa alarm clock kaya bumangon ako. He enveloped me in a hug that made me unable to move. He even faced me on his side so I had no choice.

"Bee, I'm sorry." He said while his eyes were still closed.

I opened my eyes and held her chin. "What for? Did you do something wrong?"

"About Astrea." I shut him off using my index finger. "Not now, Landon."

" Bee, Can't you stop working and just be with me everytime? You can also take care of Lizette. Just quit work, I can provide our needs in anyway."

"Bee, We already talked about this, right?" I faced her and looked on his eyes directly. "I studied eight years for me to reach this goal. Should I quit?"

"It wasn't like that. I just don't like it."

"Shall we talk about this tomorrow?" I suggested.

"Well, about that. I'm off to Pangasinan. Want to come with me?" He offered. I looked at her before I shooked my head.

"Astrea must be there." I smiled bitterly. As soon as possible, I don't want to believe Chaster.  I want the truth coming from Lucas. They were friends. I need to consider that over and over again.

"Well, I told her to quit the job. I have no idea. My mind messed up. I'm tired. Let's not talk about her." He said and hugged me. He put his head on my shoulders and my hand on his head. I caressed his hair that send him to sleep.

I watched his sleeping face and touched his lips. "You must tell the truth, Landon. Do you now like Astrea?" I whispered.

"I love you." He said and opened his eyes. Still not answering my question.

Chaster's POV

Kanina pa ako naghihintay sa labas ng bahay ni Panget at hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin siya lumalabas. I thought she's planning something important. Good thing, Mom and Dad wants Lizette to bond with them.

Narinig ko ang tunog ng gate kaya lumabas na ako sa kotse. Nakita ko si Danny na naka jeans at long sleeve na puti kaya ako lumapit. "Let's go! I'm on a hurry. I'll drive." Sabi niya at hinila ako papasok ng kotse. Umupo siya sa driver's seat at sinimulan ng buksan ang makina ng kotse.

"Hoy, Ano meron sa'yo? Mabangga tayo. Ako na magdadrive." I suggested and rolled my eyes.

"No need, I need to catch things up with Lucas. He's with Astrea going to Pangasinan." Dahil sa sinabi niya ay napadilat ng mas malawak ang mga mata ko at hinigpitan ko pa ang seatbelt.

"What's with them? Don't you trust your husband?" I asked.

"I do but not for now." She stated.

Papunta kami ngayon ni Danny sa isang branch ng Hotel namin sa Pangasinan. Alam ko ito yung minamamanage ni Lucas. The situations gets weirder as what I've expected. Lucas' car is just infront of us and we're about meters behind.

"Just call him and ask where he is." I suggested.

Inabot ko ang cellphone ni Danny dahil busy siya sa pagmamaneho ng kotse. Ako na rin ang nag-dial sa cellphone number ni Lucas. Gosh, It took minutes.
