Piper and Finn one shots A-Z

A/N: I wrote a head cannon that I'm turning into a one shot. A little strong language❤️

Finn has dyslexia. Every time he fails a test, he breaks down. But it's not far, at home, he has his older sister Hannah to help him write and spell, and most of the time his girlfriend. Piper picked up a good technique that works well with Finn, since his favorite thing(other then kissing her) is to hold her hand, she holds his hands and traces letters on the back of her hand. Finn hates driving, so when they go on dates, Piper drives, one of the reasons is because Finn has trouble reading the post signs, he tries reading them out though sometimes.

Piper slept over at Finn's last night, Finn has homework that's due in in a couple of days that he hasn't even started, and it was a two week project. "Finn, you got this okay?" Piper reassured her boyfriend, handing him the pen this time, "Okay baby." He kisses her on the lips for a few seconds, "Try and remember this buba. The paper, is my hand, so write the letters you remember from when tracing them on my hand." Finn sat there in confusion for a moment, not because he miss heard Piper, but because he doesn't know where to start. The only letters he remembers are, p I p e r that spell his girlfriend's name and also, I l o v e y o u. His two favourite words. Finn starts to write the P, but he says, "This feel -" he interlocks his hands with Piper's, "is not the same as this feel." Touching the paper, "Try and remember the way you traced the letters, like this." Piper takes the pen out of Finn's hand, "Place your hand here." She instructs him, pointing to wrap his hand around her's like it's the pen. Piper then tells her boyfriend to write his favourite words, she knows what they are. Finn's mum is watching the couple from the kitchen Island with Hannah and Finn's younger sister Maisie, who's 15. "Have you heard anything from Holly? Is she able to help more?" Hannah asks her mother, Holly is someone that Finn works with on his spelling and writing once a week. "She's coming by in the next hour." Her mother replies, "Does Finn know?" Maisie asks, "You know whenever I tell him that Holly's coming over he gets angry." "But why?" Maisie asks again. "Cause Maise, I don't think he wants anyone except from Piper to help him." Hannah suggests. "You help him, I tried to once but we got into an argument." Maisie says sadly.

"Hey Holly, come on in." Finn heard the noises coming from the area of the front door, he looked up nervously and his grip got tighter as he squeezed Piper's hand. Piper looked at her boyfriend, giving him a reassuring look, Finn grabbed her by the waist gently and pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist, and gently wresting his head on her shoulders. Piper turned her head to face Finn's, interlocking one of her hands with his and brushing her thumb over his knuckles to calm him, and the other hand playing with his curls. "Hi Finn, hey Piper." Holly's met Finn's girlfriend a bunch of times, "Hey." Piper greets her, Finn just gives Holly a tight smile.

The season with Holly, didn't go too well. She gave Finn a test to try, he broke down half way through. Piper's allowed to stay the whole weekend,if she wants and is allowed to. She's the only person who can calm Finn down. "What's the capital of England?" Hannah asked her younger brother. Hannah's method is, write everything for Finn, but ask him the questions, Finn's smart, but it's just really hard to write it down. "Umm, London?" He questions, whilst playing with Piper's hair, who's sitting on his lap. "Yeah!" Hannah tells her younger brother excitedly, "How many more questions are there?" Finn asks, hugging Piper tightly but gently, resting his head on her shoulder. "30-". "What?!" "Finn I'm kidding! There's 30 altogether but we only have 10 left. I know things didn't go down well earlier but, do you wanna write the last 10?" Hannah asks softly, Finn closes his eyes and shakes his head 'no'. "Finn..." Hannah was going to suggest something, but their mum walked in, "Hey, how's it going?" She knows the siblings are doing home work, and she knows her son's girlfriend is in his room, (because she's sleeping over again). "It's going good, Finn has 10 more questions to answer but, I've written the first 20." Hannah answers to her mother, "I can't even write, I'm so fucking stupid so what's the point!" Finn exclaims, "Hey." Piper says softly, fidgeting with her boyfriend's finger's, his mum speaks up, "Finley Oliver if you speak like that again I' gonna send Piper home! And your not stupid, so please don't say that again!" His mother Lucy comments, "What mum no, she's sleeping over tonight!" Finn fought back, Lucy sighed, "How about you write the next five, and Hannah or Piper write the last five?" Finn rolled his eyes but agreed none the less.
