Star looked up at the man that caused this whole situation....

He stared down at the beauty in front of him . He smiled softly with a smirk on his face as he could see the small tears forming in her eyes .

Whatever pity Marco had for Star that moment before was now completely gone . He snarled looking at the man who Star was probably dating . His emotions took over , he didn't feel pity for her anymore , only happiness that she suffered like he did . It was a bad thing to be happy for but for he didn't care .

Star saw the smirk on Jacobs face , she was so disgusted by this man that she almost broke down in tears , but she didn't . That would mean she will win and she could never let him win , over her dead body.

Jacob noticed how awful the mood had turned since he showed up . He knew something had happened so he decided to play along with it .

As the tension grew over the four individuals , it was Vanessa who found the Courage to speak . " Marco I think we should get going so we can leave these two love birds alone." Vanessa spoke , referring to Star and Jacob . As much as Vanessa tried to hide it , she was fearful of Star and Jacob , everyone at the office was . They were their boss , who wouldn't be scared ? She however knew she should get out of the situation quickly to avoid any problems.

Marco wanted to leave aswell , not because he was fearful of Jacob or Star , it was because he couldn't stand to look at either of them in the face without wanting to punch Jacob and just call out Star for using him .

Star herself wanted to leave this whole situation, find a whole and die in it .

Jacob wanted to play mind games with everyone .

" we should really get going or else we're gonna miss our reservations Marco..." Vanessa said , trying to point marco towards the exit . He however couldn't keep his eyes off of Jacob. Oh how badly he just wanted to go up to him and give him a hard punch for everything .

" how about we go on a double date sometime ?" Jacob suggested .

All eyes were on him now .
Both Star and Marco heads partically snapped towards him while Vanessa chuckled lightly with a small responding with a joyful "yeah !"

"Great then it's settled, will meet up for a double date , Sunday ? 7:30 ? The French restaurant down the street ?" Jacob questioned , making plans quickly.
" great see you guys then !" Vanessa stated as she and Marco both left .

Star came back to the reality when she felt Jacobs arm around her . She shoved him aggressively away .
" WHAT THE HELL JACOB ?!" She yelled at him .
" what's wrong ? It's just a date ?"
" a date I didn't agree to go too !"
" oh come on ! It's gonna be fun !" He smiled but she could tell the evil that lay beneath it .

Stick to the plan Star , stick to it !

"Vanessa ! What was that all about ?" Marco called out for Vanessa as she was a few feet away from her . She turned around , her eyes sparking in the lighting of the moon .
" nothing . He offered for us to go on a double date ? Why not ? Why do you ask ?"
" it's nothing , it's just..."
" it's just what ?" She asked softly coming closer to him . Her eyes sparking once more .

At that moment he felt at peace , like nothing else mattered . He was a little bit upset at first because who would want to see their ex on a double date with them ? Especially because marco couldn't explain to Jacob or Vanessa why he actually didn't want to go .

If he told either one of them that , they could go to the CEO of the company and have star fired . As much as he hated her for still loving her , he wouldn't wish to fire anyone , not even his greatest enemy .

But he also knew that going on this double date would be a step forward in the right direction for Vanessa and himself . Coming out as a couple to their bosses could show that he was willing enough to move on , in the right direction .

They both stayed silent as they felt a magnetic force pulling them towards each other , lust or love ? That was the question .
As the lips collided , it didn't take long before their arms wrapped around one another . Marco didn't know much about his feelings for Vanessa yet but right now , right now this felt right.

They pulled apart slowly , arms still wrapped around one another protectively . " nothing... let's get going..." he said softly .

He knew that the date was gonna be aweful but as long as she was next to him he couldn't be scared .

As the blonde put the finishing touches on her outfit , she turned towards the big bedroom mirror . She looked in the mirror , hair , makeup and outfit was all placed on perfectly . Tonight was the night she had to go on that double date with Jacob . She was not looking forward to it , who would ?

She had to pretend to be happy with Jacob in front of her colleagues and while she always kept on a perfect smile , what lay beneath that smile was the frown that she hide like most people .

She couldn't lie to herself , she looked amazing in that dress but it didn't feel like her , it was too girly and all in all not her . She felt like a fake Barbie but she knew who she had to satisfy , Jacob .

She sighed as she looked into the mirror , trying to fix all the little details of the outfit to make it seem perfect or somewhat good. A knock on the door told Star that her date had arrived . Before stepping out , she took a deep breathe in and prepared her fake smile that would hopefully pull her apart for the night .

Swinging the door open , she came face to face with Jacob . She wasn't gonna lie to herself , he cleaned up nicely but he was so dirty and disgusting beneath all that skin .

"Wow... hello beautiful..." he said in a seductive voice , his eyes traveling up and down her body , eye raping her as her eyes followed his up her beautiful long legs .

She gagged just by hearing him say that but decided she could hold it in .
" shall we ?" He said extending his arm out in a gentleman like way . She took his hand , giving him a somewhat decent smile . To be honest she couldn't have been more disgusted by him , for most girls he would've been the perfect guy . Tall , handsome , gentleman like , smart , sweet but she knew the monster that many girls didn't know , the perfect guy In her eyes would always be marco .

And she didn't care what anyone else said , in her eyes , he was perfection .
