Nightmare's POV

I stare at all the paperwork in front of me and sigh. It's been a week of me doing nonstop paperwork. I love it. It's relaxing but it's also stressful. I've been so stressed that I made so much paperwork and I've been slowly doing it. I grabbed a new pen since the other one ran out of ink. I then went back to doing my paperwork.

Killer's POV

I haven't seen Nightmare for a week now. Everyone here is worried about boss. Especially me since I'm his husband. I checked his room multiple times, but he wasn't in there. I knew he wasn't in heat since Ink would have called me. How would Ink know when Nightmare was in heat? Well, if Dream is in heat, so is Nightmare. So Nightmare isn't in heat. I decided to go check the office. I should have probably checked in there sooner. I saunter over to Nightmare's office. Once I made it there, I knocked on the door. I waited for a few minutes, which felt like hours to me. I got no reply. So he was either ignoring me or he wasn't in there. I take a deep breath before opening the door.

Nightmare's POV

I heard knocking on my door but ignored it. I figured if I just stayed silent, whoever knocked would just leave. I soon hear the door being opened and sighed, looking up to see who entered my office. I noticed it was Killer and we both just stared at each other silently for what seems like an eternity. "Tell me you weren't in here for the entire week." Killer broke the silence. I stayed silent. I wasn't a huge fan of lying. "I'm taking your silence as a yes." He sighed. "Yup..." I sighed as well. He walks over to me and takes away my pen, which made me huff in annoyance. My tendrils curl up slightly behind me when I huffed. Killer puts the pen away. "Stand up." He ordered me. "Who said you were the bo-" I started to speak before being interrupted. "I said stand up." Killer repeated his order. I decided to humor him and stand up. He sat down on my chair and then pats his lap. I blushed softly, but it wasn't visible due to the goo on my face. I hesitantly sat down. As soon as I sat down, Killer grabs my head and puts it on his now-summoned female chest. "What are you doing?" I question as he kept my head on his warm, clothed chest. "I'm holding you hostage and making you lay on something similar to pillows so you fall asleep. Working yourself like this will slowly kill you. Maybe not physically, but mentally. Get some rest, my moon." I blush to the point it's visible. He's so caring. I don't deserve him but I also do. I didn't even realize I was drifting off to sleep.

Killer's POV

He finally fell asleep. I kissed his forehead before closing my eyes and falling into a nice, peaceful slumber.
