Sans took a shortcut and infront of the apartment building he appeared, walking up the stairs to his place. Facing in front of his door, he jangled the keys from his bag and flipped the knob open, letting him come in.

"Paps, I'm home." He calls out, slipping off his school shoes and sliding in pink fuzzy slippers by the doorway.

The distant trousle of bones greets him, a tall skeleton reaching just inches from the ceiling, wearing a apron over his oversized shirt a huge smile on his face.

"SANS! MY BROTHER, HOW WAS SCHOOL? AND WHY HAD YOU COME HOME THIS LATE IT'S ALREADY EVENING." His excessive volume fills the room, Sans really did feel bad for their neighbours with his brother's energetic yelling.

Sans gave him a shrug, "I'm sorry bro, something happened at school." he was gonna leave out the part where he dozed off and missed half of class. Papyrus would never let him hear the end of it.

"WHAT HAPPENED? DID YOU DO SOMETHING AGAIN, SANS?" He accuses, his hands on his hips.

A sweat trickled behind the skull of the shorter skeleton. "No, Paps, it's nothin'. Uh, how about dinner first?" He angles his head towards the kitchen.

"NYEHEHE! OF COURSE!"

"I SHALL EXCUSE THIS MATTER FOR LATER AND LET US INDULGE IN MY COOKING EXPERTISE." A proud smirk forms on the skeleton's permanent smile, walks back to the kitchen to get the bowls of hot ramen.

Sans went to his room, tossed his bag on his bed.

Their apartment wasn't that big, only a small living space, two rooms and a simple kitchen. They were both monsters, they really had no need for a bathroom so instead they got two individual rooms. The rent isn't much of problem when both brothers are working a part-time job.

Lazily unbottoning his black uniform, taking off his pants to slip on basketball shorts and a plain white shirt. He sauntered back to the living room, the other skeleton already seated on the other end of the zataku; his long legs entwined against each other comfortably.

"ALRIGHT BROTHER, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF TONIGHT'S DINNER?" Eagerly awaits his brother's response.

Sans held his bowl closer, feeling the heat to his phalanges, observing the contents with the ramen. Pieces of meat, egg and vegetables fills his bowl, he looks back to the skeleton infront of him.

"Wow, I didn't expect that much ingredients here."

"I mean, how could we afford this?" He frowns at the steamy goodness, holding the chopsticks that laid on the table.

"DO NOT WORRY. I THE GREAT PAPYRUS HAS PREPARED A BETTER FOOD FOR YOU, IN CELEBRATION OF YOUR GOING BACK TO SCHOOL." He gives a big smile for his brother, Sans' frown lifts up.

"Hehe, thanks bro. You're the best." He says genuinely, noticing that his brother only had plain ramen on his bowl. A painful smile tugs on his face.

My bro really is the best.

A 'Nyehehe' was all his brother said.

They started eating in silence, till the taller skeleton perked up.

"So what really happened?" Papyrus asks with a much calmer voice.

"I told you, it's nothing." Sans respond.

"Did you hurt someone again?"

"U-uh... Maybe?"

"SANS! THAT IS A YES OR NO QUESTION, WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'MAYBE'?" Back again with the booming voice.
