I Hate You, I Love You [Jimin X Jeongyeon] (ONHOLD)

Chapter Twenty-Two

Yoongi's Point of View

"Let's drink!" Jimin shouted.

We are already on our way back home. Only Jimin was the most drunk among us all. 

"Jimin's drunk." Nayeon said while chuckling and Jimin heard that.

He faced Nayeon with a frown on his face. "Who'sh dhrunkh? Me no dhrunkh. Me all gwood." He said with his drunk voice.

(Just imagine his voice. HAHAHA.)

"He's really drunk." Namjoon said then wrapped his arm around Jimin's shoulder.

Jimin removed Namjoon's arm from his shoulder then shouted. "I shaid I'm nwot dhrunkh!" We all laughed at his reaction. "Why youw lwaughwing? Ish therrrre sumthing fuuuuny?!" He added which made us laugh more. He suddenly sat on the road then acted sad. "Chim chim sad." He whispered.

I leaned onto him then hit his forehead which made him pout. "Stop acting like a child. That doesn't suit you." I said then everyone laughed again.

He suddenly stood up then shadowboxed. "Jimin no chwild! Jimin bhrave! Jimin ishthrong!" He shouted while punching in the air.

(I feel this is not a drunk voice. I think it's a baby talk. Bear with me, guys, I really don't know how to drunk talk sorryyyyy <3)

Suddenly, Chaeyoung and Mina created some weird sounds. "Ouch! Stop! Jimin! It hurts!"

"Omo, the air is speaking." Tzuyu innocently said which made us understand them then laughed afterwards. 

"Let's just go home." Taehyung said while chuckling. We all continued to walk then I pulled Jimin until we reached our house.

"The lights are out." Sana whispered.

"Maybe Jeongyeon's already asleep. What time is it?" Jungkook answered. Everyone checked their watches and phones.

"2 in the midnight." Tzuyu answered.

"Is it? I feel like it's 9PM." Seokjin said then scratched his nape.

"We enjoyed a lot that we forgot about the time." Dahyun said.

"Let's go inside. It's cold." I said then everyone followed me into the house. We turned on our flashlights when suddenly....

The lights went on and a voice spoke behind us. "Where have you been?" We turned and we saw Jeongyeon standing right there with her eyebrows meeting at the center. "Do you know what time is it?" She said in a strict tone.

Jimin suddenly walked right up to her. "It's 2AM. We are not dumb, Jeongyeon." The way Jimin answered Jeongyeon made us speechless. "Why are you still awake? Hmm?"

"I-i'm waiting for---"

"Who told you to wait for us? Are we that irresponsible to you?" Jimin's voice is starting to get louder.

"J-jimin, it's n-not---"

"We can take care of ourselves! We're not kids anymore! We can take care of your friends! I wanna take care of you too but..." He leaned closer to Jeongyeon's ear. "...you're not allowing me." He stood up straight then crossed his arms while his eyes are not letting go of Jeongyeon. "Go on. Avoid me. I don't care. Just don't wait to lose everything, your grades, your career, your friends, because of your pride." After he said that, her eyes widened while Jimin walked up to his room and slammed the door. All of us are speechless until I whispered Jungkook to escort the girls to their room and I'll just talk to Jeongyeon.

When I saw that it's just me and Jeongyeon in the living room who's left, I walked right to her then patted her shoulders. "You alright?" I said then she looked at me, teary eyed. I spread my arms, indicating her to hug me if it's okay with her. Her tears suddenly fell as she hugged me tightly while crying all of her might to my chest. I rubbed her back as I let her cry.

"Why is this happening?" I heard her say between of her sobs.

"Jeong, you know that this started since the cheating issue. And you avoiding Jimin." She raised her head and looked at me as I say Jimin's name. "We wanna know your reason. We wanna hear your side. Why are you avoiding him?"

She suddenly stepped away from me. "Sleep now. Goodnight." She said as she wipes her tears and went to her room.

I sighed as I looked at my wet shirt due to her tears. I heard footsteps approaching. "How'd it went?" Hoseok asked me from behind.

"She doesn't want to open up to me. I thought she'll feel better if I'll ask her about it, not her friends, but I'm wrong." I said as I faced him. Hoseok sighed as well. He understands what I am feeling.

If we will not know about Jeongyeon's side, we cannot resolve this issue. We just thought that Jimin's the victim, but it seems like Jeongyeon is also the victim.

It's also not easy for her to avoid Jimin.

I tried writing one chapter on my laptop and it feels so good so early update guys! Hope you enjoy this chapter!

edit: i'm planning to work on another BTS FF story. don't worry, it's still a plan haha. but i just wanna know if someone's gonna read it if I start to publish it. btw, it's genre will be mystery or thriller or idk the exact genre haha. just please let me know. your endless support enlightens my writing spirit aha!
