Chapter 2
The second period had already past by and it was already lunch time. I walked into the cafeteria awkwardly earning a few stares from someone every now and then. I got some lunch and looked around for somewhere to sit, everyone seemed to be busy with their friends so I had my lunch outside.
Never in my life have I felt so alone before. Their was some guy with blonde hair and baby blue eyes sitting outside too on his phone. He noticed my presence and smiled, "You must be Lara, the new girl." I nod confused.
"How do you know my name?" I ask not trying to sound rude. He chuckled a throaty chuckle "Everyone knows who you are." I nodded slowly. "Plus I'm in your English and History class. "Oh really? I didn't even notice." I say.
"Yeah it's okay though. I'm Luke by the way." He smiled putting his hand out I smiled and shook his hand not bothering to say my name. "Thanks for talking Luke I'll see you later?" I ask him standing up he stood up too and we both entered and went to our second to last period of the day.
Apparently he also had science with me witch made me happy I have someone to talk to. I introduced myself to the teacher, Mrs. Harris she told me to take a seat. I took the empty spot that was right next to Luke. He gave me a warm smile, his baby blue eyes twinkling.
Now that I get a good look at him, he's very very attractive. He has his blonde-slightly brown hair up in a neat quiff and his eyes are brightener and probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. And man this kid was tall, he's like a human giraffe you could say.
I slightly chuckled at my thoughts. I tore my gaze away from him and payed attention to the rest of class. The bell rang and me and Luke walked out together, "I wanna introduce you to some of my friends come on!" He smiled I nodded nervously and followed him between the massive clumps of people.
We approached 3 boys standing by the lockers. One was the guy from
English class. The other one had crazy pink hair, witch I liked. And the last one had shaggy dirty blonde hair and his eyes...they were breathtaking.
They were all very attractive lads I must say. But this boy is just off the radar. I snapped out of my thoughts when Luke said "Guys this is Lara, she just moved here." He smiled as he brushed my arm. The boys looked up. "Lara this is Calum, Michael and Ashton." I said a small shy hi as so did they.
Ashton, his name looked at me and looked at me for a second too long. I felt slightly uncomftrable but I just smiled as he went back to looking at his phone. "Sup Lara" Calum winked I rolled my eyes and Luke laughed. I said goodbye to Luke and went to my locker I grabbed my backpack and papers that I got from today and went outside to the courtyard.
Everyone was taking pictures and socializing. I laughed at how much of a loser I am, suddenly I felt a weight bring me down to my knees. I yelped in pain and and looked at who it was. It was a really really pretty blonde girl who had eyes as blue and shiny as Luke's. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to trip over you!" She apologized helping me up.
"Haha it's alright, accidents happen." I smile warmly. She apologized again and she said her name was Darcy. "That's a very pretty name! I'm Lara." I say she leaned In for a hug witch I returned. "Well I should be going, just give, me your number so we can talk." She smiled. I agreed and we exchanged numbers and said goodbye for now.
I walked back home and didn't really have any homework to do. So decided to go out and explore, what! I'm curious don't judge me, it's Australia maybe I'll run into a kangaroo if I'm lucky. I grabbed my phone and purse and left, I walked until I reached this little park. It was a little ways from my house, and it was very lovely. I smiled and sat on the bench, inhaling the clean breeze that was wiping by.
I was interrupted by sounds of laughter and yelling. "WHAT THE FUCK MICHAEL!" I heard a familiar voice yell I turned around and saw Ashton, Luke, Michael, Calum, Darcy and some slutty looking chick attacking each other. I laughed in amusement, they noticed my presents and automaticity laughed. "well that was rather interesting, aye?" Darcy and Luke chuckled I noticed Luke's arm snake around her waist. And that slutty girl kissed Ashton.
My heart kinda dropped for some reason, I don't know why. They asked me to hang out and I said why not? We all ended up going to this abandoned area that was absolutely gorgeous. I talked to Luke he was a really nice guy. Michael was just straight up weird witch cracks me up. Calum isn't as much as a dick as I thought he was. he's actually kind of nice. Ashton keeps to himself really...Darcy was like a little ball of energy and laughter.
She was always laughing, but when someone said something she didn't like she will be the total opposite. I don't know, so far I'm digging Australia
to be honest! I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt someone pick me up I squeaked and realized it was Michael. He kept walking Untill we were out of sight. He wouldn't put me down, he finally did and I looked around I felt him push me against a brick wall and smash his lips to mine.
I was taken back by his sudden actions but went along with it. He had really soft lips! Like woah man. He pulled away and blushed "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that your just really attractive. Now I see why Ashton is to shy to talk to you." he admitted "What do you mean to shy? Isn't he dating whatever that is" I say looking down embarrassed. He laughed a loud laugh "She's no one to him, she thinks their dating but I guess their just friends with benefits, keep your eye out oh and yeah Ashton is a little shy." he smirked.
I thanked him and we went back to the others, I could tell this move is gonna have a lot of boy drama. Here we go!
