stranded on earth

chapter 1

I woke up to the solid smell of bacon and pancakes. I turned to my clock to see it was only 6:00 AM. it was my mom definatly, she always gets up early so she can cook. I rose from the bed and made my way downstairs. "Well your up early," my mom said. I didnt respond. i grabbed a plate and helped my self to some pancakes. it was already 7:30. i'm going to school now mom" i said, in a low towned, obviously tired, voice. I threw on my backpack and made my way to school.

After about 20-30 minutes of walking, i got to my school. i was already late to first period.

"why are you late?" the teacher exclaimed, in a slightly rude tone. i didnt respond.

"i said,""because i overslept" i said.

it was lunch, i met up with my friends, Aaron, josh, and kyle. we sat at are usual table near a tree that provided shade. Right as we sat down at our table, a vehement siren went of, leaving my ears ringing, it was like one of sirens you when theres a nuke about to bomb you, "this cant be good" aaron exclaimed, in a nervouse tone, he was always paranoid. but then my heart sank. a thundering noise went off, it was almost like a bomb, The ground started shaking, "CRAP!" "what the hell is happening!" exclaimed. we grabbed our bags and ran to the multipurpose room. we were running for our lives. i looked behind me to see that the local nuclear powerplant, the biggest in the whole world, has exploded. a huge cloud that was atleast 2000 feet tall and covered the whole horizon line rushed towards us at atleast 500 miles per hour, "Sean hurry up!" it sounded as he was almost about to cry, we ran into the MPR and right when the cloud of contamination was reaching us, i slammed the door, i fell to the ground, noticing we were the only ones there, the otheres were most likely dead by now,

kyle stood up, "we should be safe in he-" then suddenly, a huge pillar that was outside crashed into the building, smashing kyles body to the ground, there was no way he survived. "KYLE!" there were tears in my eyes. "OH GOD", josh ran towards the body and tried lifting up the pillar, there was no use, there was dust all in our eyes. we ran by a bod and just layed behind it,, suddenly i got light headed, then,everything went black,.....
