A letter to myself *Niall Horan One~Shot*

I had the most amazing day ever so far! Well, it didn’t start off like that, but as of right now… it’s the most perfect day ever. Earlier, I was on the phone with my friend Britney when we found out that “One Direction” was finally here, for the show that they are doing tonight.

All my friends are going, and I was upset that I didn’t have a ticket. My friends were excited and getting ready to go to the mall to buy outfits for the show. “Do you want to come?” Britney asked. “No, but I’ll see you later, have a good time” I told her right before hanging up.

 I cried for a few minutes, and then thought about bugging my mom to get me a ticket, but I knew she would say “no!” like she did multiple times before. So I went outside to get some air. “Paige, I’m going downtown to get a few things, do you want to come?” my mom asked me. “Yeah, sure.” I answered.

When we got in the car, “One Direction” was on every radio station. It was killing me that I couldn’t go to the concert. I stayed silent, and kept wiping my eyes that were full of little tears. My mom didn’t ask, but she knew why I was upset, so she switched the radio station to the news!

Glad fully, since downtown is a short ride away from my house, I didn’t have to listen to it for too long. “I’m going to the bank, and then to a few dress stores” my mom said, handing me some money. “You can come with me, or stay around this area, okay?” she asked. I nodded my head okay.

Instead of walking with her. I decided to go get some ice cream. I noticed there was a crowd of people outside waiting for something, but I didn’t pay too much attention to it. I was just about to walk into the ice cream shop, when the huge crowd started running towards me. Some with cameras, and microphones. It was crazy!

It was so crazy that I stood there frozen. I was about to get ran over. However, someone pushed me out of the way of the crowd, and into a stranger’s car. I sat up, and realized it was Niall that pushed me into the car!

Driving the car was an old man, who actually stopped the car when we got into it. The paparazzi were starting to crowd around the car. “Can you please drive away from here?” Niall asked. “Where to?” asked the old man. “Anywhere but here!” Niall said. And the old man pulled off.

I looked at Niall, and tried to keep my composure. I couldn’t believe I was in a car with Niall Horan!! “Thank you for kind of saving me” I told him nervously. “Sorry, I pushed you, and dragged you into this situation…you okay?” he asked. His eyes were making me melt! “Perfectly fine” I smiled. Niall went  into his pocket and gave the old guy $100 “thank you so much for doing this” Niall said. “No problem” the old man said after looking at the hundred dollar bill.

He drove Niall and me to Topiary Park. I could tell that Niall had no clue where we were. “You’re from here right?” he asked me just before we got out of the old man’s car. I nodded my head yes. “Thank you!” Niall and I both said to the old man after getting out.

“So you know where the exits are?” Niall asked me. “Yes” I answered. “Good!” Niall said before taking his phone out of his pocket and made a call.

“Hey, I know they were chasing me so I had to run, you know?!” he said in his thick accent.

"Yeah, I’m at Topiary Park, with a girl. She almost got ran over by the paps” he said while looking at me.

“The main entrance…okay, bye”

“That was Paul; he’s coming to get us. Wait, what is your name?” Niall asked me. “It’s Paige” I smiled. “Like, turn the page??!” Niall smiled.  “No, I have an I in my name” I laughed. “Well, it’s nice to meet you Paige, my name is Niall, and I also have an I in my name” he smiled.

“So where were you off to before you almost got ran over?” he asked me. “To get ice cream. I was actually kind of upset, about not being able to go to your show later” I replied. “Why can’t you come?” he asked. “No ticket” I answered. “Well I’m glad to see you smiling now” Niall said.

I’m sure I started turning bright red after he said that. “Wow, the pond is huge” Niall said, as we walked by the middle pond in the park. Niall took my hand and we walked towards the pond. “This is cool” Niall said as he bent down and touched the water. “But your even cooler!” he said after splashing water on me. “Ugh!” I yelled just before laughing. I couldn’t believe that he splashed me.

After I wiped my face I went after him…. but I couldn’t find him. I felt like I looked everywhere that could he have made into a hiding place. Bushes, behind trees and along the path.

“Boo!!!” Niall said from behind me, after scaring me. “Where were you hiding?” I asked. “In the tree!” Niall said just before putting his white and blue hat back on.

“So what’s your favorite song?” I asked him. “One direction or any other song?” he asked. “One direction” I smiled. “Umm… up all night, it’s a cool song” he answered. “Will you sing it to me?” I asked. “How about we sing it together?!” he asked. I laughed. “Okay.”

Niall got his phone out and played “up all night” and we jumped around and sang along to the music. It was a magical moment.

After the song, we walked up to the entrance and waited for Paul. Niall sat on the ground, with his back towards a tree. I sat in front of him. Niall pulled me back, so now my back was on his chest.

“Would you ever date a fan?” I asked Niall. “Sure, why not” he replied. “Even if she’s younger than you?” I asked.  “Well, maybe I’d wait until she’s a little bit older, but sure” he said. I smiled and rested in his arms. I was so into cuddling with Niall that I forgot all about my ice cream, how upset I was earlier, and my mom!

*Honk Honk*

A white van pulled into the park. The door opened, and Paul hopped out. “Who is this?” he asked. “Paige” Niall said.  As he stood up. “We have to get her back downtown… where are the boys?” Niall asked. “On the way to sound check” Paul replied as we jumped into the van.

In five minutes, we were back downtown. I saw my mom’s car still parked. “Thank you for the incredible day” Niall said. “No, thank you!” I smiled back.

Niall put his hat on my head. Then Paul gave him an envelope, which Niall then gave to me. “Don’t open this until we leave okay?” Niall said. “Okay” I answered. He gave me a kiss on the cheek, waived bye, and closed the door.

I waited for them to drive away before opening the envelope. When I opened it, I found two tickets for tonight’s show! I’m so excited! That’s been my day so far, maybe I’ll write more later.
