chapter 12: the rescue?

Angel's POV

I heard Vaggie scream something in the distance before jumping into the car, Cherri not far behind. Cherri grabbed something from behind the minibar and handed two guns, a hunting knife and a rifle to me. She herself grabbed a bag filled with bombs and a few knives and guns.

later we arrived at the last place where the twins had found (Y/N), hearing loud voices coming from inside the building. Me and Cherri exchanged glances before sneaking our way to the building. we scoped thee area around the house and found out a whole gang of demons was there, at least 5 armed and 3 guards, 1 at the back, 1 up top and 1 at the front. After looking around we went back to the van and took out some of the other weapons. I sighed "looks like they got the place surrounded, how are we going to do this?" I faced Cherri. "How about I go distract them and you slip inside?" She offered. "No, I'm pretty sure they'll notice me in an instant when I step inside, I'll be the decoy." I replied, Cherri nodded and went into the van to change into something that would make her less suspicious I spoke up. "Take a knife with you just in case alright?" she stepped out of the van now wearing a fully black outfit. "yeah don't worry about me, you worry about not getting caught k?" I chuckled before we went back to the house.

Cherri waited behind one of the trees while I walked up to it, a smirk on my face while I spoke. "Heyy boys~! How are you doing~?" The guard at the door seemed to notice me and he started to smile while walking up to me. "Well well well what do we have here~? a little princess lost in the woods?" I smiled sweetly before giving the signal to Cherri. She slipped past the guard and went into the house. "I got lost, would you mind helping me out?" I asked and looked him in the eyes. "sure sweetheart~" the male replied. "Where do I find a man named Tachiki?" the other male's eyes widened before smirking. "oh you're looking for the boss eh? well im sure he'll love to meet you doll." i moved closer. "aw would he now? thats amazing!" he was grabbed me by the shoulders and was about to bring me inside when a loud thud was heard behind us.

Cherri had thrown one of the guards off of the balcony. The male I was talking to bolted to his friend and I snuck inside. most of the demons were too distracted by what happened so I ran upstairs and heard a scream coming from one of the rooms, I burst through the door only to see a caged, unconscious (Y/N) and Cherri being held at gunpoint by Tachiki. "move an inch and i'll blow her brains out ya hear me slut?" Tachiki spoke, pushing the barrel harder against Cherri's temple causing her to let out a soft yelp. "let them go." I growled. "And why would I do that?" He smirked. "However you can have this back." he threw Cherri on the ground towards me, she stood up and ran to my side hissing in slight pain. "You alright?" I asked, Cherri nodded. "Im fine all im worried about is how we're gonna get her away from him. She looks like she's in a coma." she whispered back to me taking a fighting stance. I followed her lead and did the same, pulling out my gun and backwards handing the other weapon to Cherri.

(Y/N)'s POV

I woke up to the sounds of grunting and screaming, as I opened my eyes three familiar demons were fighting each other, Angel together with Cherri attacking Tachiki. Adrenaline kicked in and I started to break the cage's door. Once the door broke down I jumped out, all the attention now focused on me. "look who woke up~! the star of the evening~!" Tachiki cooed and smirked at me, I growled before carefully walking towards Angel and Cherri. "what do you want?" I hissed. He just smiled and shook his head. "Don't you remember my little sister, we made a promise..." he mocked in a sad tone. "we'd always be together no matter what. No matter who takes us away from each other"

Flashback
"we'll always find our way back together!" A younger blonde male spoke happily while sticking his pinky out to a small brown haired girl, her face covered with a big band aid. She shakily hooked her pinky with the male and nodded. "y-yes p-promise!"
Flashback ends

My whole body started shaking with pure anger. "if you were supposed to be here all the time... where were you when I first arrived here A YEAR AGO?!" I screamed into his face. He flinched and clenched his jaw. "WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I NEEDED YOU THE MOST?! THE DAY I DIED IN THAT HOSPITAL BED. I CALLED OUT YOUR NAME IN HOPES YOU'D HEAR ME. THE DAY I GOT SENT HERE. WHERE WERE YOU?! I THOUGHT WE WOULD DIE TOGETHER TACHIKI." my (E/C) eye's started to blaze up and my wings and horns started to grow. I signaled to the other two to leave and they nodded before hastily walking out of the room. Tachiki kept looking down not wanting to make eye contact. "And I thought we were siblings." His face shot up and right at that moment I punched him in the jaw, sending him flying into the wall. "That's for my friends asshole." I walked off my appearance turning back normal.

I grabbed Angel and Cherri. "We need to go. now." they followed me not questioning what happened. when we were outside Angel embraced me in a hug. "Im sorry I didn't respond to the texts.." he let out a shaky breath. "hey its alright! im glad you guys even came for me.." I smiled when Cherri joined the hug. "We should probably leave before those asses find out their boss is knocked out." Cherri said before dragging us with her to the van. "Ah a pedo-van.. nice!" I chuckled before stepping in the back with Cherri and Angel got into the drivers seat, taking us back to the hotel.
