An Update from the Author

An Update:

Due to real-life circumstances I will be editing Alone in the future before I continue the story. Biuziceca (Izet) and Ithan will be removed from the text, but this will not be effecting the main story. Their characters will be replaced by other OCs from other people, as the two being replaced are from two individuals who are no longer in my life.

The romance aspect will be changed, as I was partially forcing that aspect and it felt forced at the time and reads as such. The romance Silent will be experiencing will be much more natural in future chapters.

For the couple questions I have recieved in the while since I last updated-

-Yes, I still have plans to update.

-Silent does have a form of mental illness, I will be easing into it and developing it as my own did. I will be using my own mental health and diagnosis to drive it. No, it is not ableist to have a character with a mental illness.

-No, I will not be driving any sort of father-figure status with KirinDave and Silent. The KirinDave in my cannon is much more spite driven towards RidgeDog, and is the only reason he agreed to keep her safe. He is a kind man, but only to those in his charge or others with complicated or hostile relations with RidgeDog. He does not know about Silent's relation to RidgeDog.

-This story, and another that I have been working on in my free time that I have yet to publish chapters for, came to me during my final years of high school (2016-2017) and have been a working project. Most of the chapters I have written so far will be posted when I feel comfortable with them and my own progress as an author, as the projects span multiple years the change and development will change the way the story sounds and I would like them to be a reflection of that.

-Alone is not on hiatus. I have been working and thinking on how to change things for a long time to make things better and adjustments are being made to the story behind closed doors. I haven't stopped working on the book and don't plan to anytime soon.

-RidgeDog, Bebop, and Verbal are my favourite trio from the Golden Age of the Yogscast.

-Yes, I will be changing part of the first arc so that it removes Sj*n from the story. I do not condone nor want to draw attention to any good aspect that man might have after what he's done.
