I'm 14 and it's been 8 years since the zombies apocalypse started. My mom died when it all started. She was at work and was bit. My daddy decided to go live with grandma Mary. My Uncle Alex didn't come until 3 months later. Her house got unsafe with all these walkers finding there way in. When I was 11 so we hade to leave. That's when we found Terminus.
{Flashback when Claire was 11}
Gareth wiped Claire's bloody face and hugged her tightly telling her it's gonna be ok even though that was a huge lie. "Your gonna be fine sweetie. I won't let anything happen to you ever." Gareth said holding Claire. Alex stopped pacing back and forth and sat down next to Gareth. "This was all a fucking mistake. We shouldn't of came here."
Alex said looking at Gareth than looking at Claire. The train door opened and Mary was thrown in. Her face was all bloody and started to cry."Mom!" yelled Alex. The train door was slammed closed. Alex got up at started to bang on the door."Come here mom" Gareth said. Mary couldn't hear cause of Alex banging on the door."COME HERE!" Gareth yelled a little louder. Mary nodded and moved closer to her older son. SNIFFLE SNIFFLE Claire stopped crying and looked at her grandma. Mary looked at her and kissed her head."It's gonna be alright Claire. We're gonna make Terminus better." Mary said angrily.
{Terminus 3 years later}
Claire yawned and got out of bed. Her dad, Uncle and grandma was still sleeping. She put on her dark blue pants and her and plaid shirt with her red converses on. "Why are you up so early?" Alex asked. Claire jumped not knowing that it was just her uncle. "I just woke up" Claire said putting her light brown hair in a ponytail. Alex talked to Claire until Gareth and Mary woke up. "Morning dad" Claire said looking at him with a smile on her face.
Gareth got up a kissed her head and got ready for a new day. Mary got up and put on her sweater and put her dirty blonde hair in a messy bun. Claire, Mary, Gareth and Alex went into there work rooms. All Claire did was do math and reading so she learns everything since there's no school."Sanctuary for all those who arrive survive. Sanctuary for all those who arrive survive." they girl said over about 10 times to make sure everyone outside could hear her. But I bet the people inside got really annoyed easily. Out of nowhere 4 people came in. I looked up and saw them. One looked around my age 14-15 or 16 but I couldn't tell. Another one looked his he was in his 40's so did the other man. The woman looked like in their 30 or 40's. "Sanctuary for all those who arrive sur-" the woman stopped talking and looked at them. Everyone stopped doing their work and looked at them. My dad is walked forward and said "Welcome to Terminus. It looked like you been out on the road for a while". "We have." one of the men said. The boy looked at me than at my dad. I stood up and walked and stood next to my dad. He looked at me and than at the group. "This is my daughter Claire." Claire waved at the group and they didn't say anything or wave back. One of the men was holding their gun and make sure it was ready too shoot if he needed too. "Welcome to Terminus" Claire said with a bright smile "Your gonna like it here."
