The sound of whistles, conversation, and the chirping of pets filled the air as a tall dark-haired man stepped through the magical portal connecting Kings Cross Station to Platform 9 ¾. The man, named Andino, gingerly took a few more steps onto the platform and he heard a soft gasp from behind him and his daughter's small hand latched on to one of his.

"Welcome to Platform 9 ¾ mia cara."

Glancing down at his daughter, Camryn, the man saw her dark brown eyes wide with wonder and possible nervousness. Her small hand tightened its grip on his, definitely nervous.

"Now now don't be scared! I know it looks daunting but it's only because it's something new to you." He said, as he slowly began walking through the crowds of families. Leading his daughter towards the scarlet train that was awaiting them. Coming upon the train the man deep in thought, his mind occupied by worries for his daughter. He was jerked out of his worries by a hand slapping on his shoulder.

"Andino! I wouldn't expect to find you here of all places!"

Andino quickly gained his composure and turned around to face the owner of the hand with a pleasant smile.

"I usually wouldn't be here Arthur but as you well know today is September 1st and that can only mean one thing, another school year at Hogwarts is starting. You remember Camryn, right? This will be her very first year at Hogwarts." As he introduced her Andino felt his daughter take a step closer to his side and noticed her hiding behind the curtain of curls that seemed to flow endlessly from her head.

"Oh of course I remember! She seems to be the only thing you'll talk about at work besides the workload you have." Arthur then gestured to the small cluster of redheads behind him. "This is my family of course. You already know Molly here. Charlie is already on the train but this is Percy, George, Fred, Ron, and Ginny. Ron and Ginny will be attending in the next few years and it'll be Fred and George's first year."

"Perhaps those three can watch out for each other while they're at school. I know that I would appreciate it." Andino aimed the last sentence specifically at the twin boys, hoping that he could worry a little less while Camryn was so far away at school.

"I'm sure that they will Andino, no need to worry yourself any more than you already do." Arthur reassured his friend with a light pat on the shoulder. "Now what were you telling me last week about that assignment you had in New York? You mentioned that it might have something to do wi-"

Arthur's inquiry was quickly cut off as his wife noticed the clock on the nearby pillar.

"Oh dear, it's almost 11! It's best you lot get on the train now or you'll never find a seat." Molly fussed and quickly herded Percy and the twins to the nearest train door. Andino was close behind with Camryn hurrying behind her father.

"Now mi amor you'll be just fine at Hogwarts, I know we'll be the farthest apart we've ever been but I'm just an owl away." With a kiss on Camryn's forehead, her father was gone and for the first time in her life, she was truly by herself. Or so she thought.

"Well come on now! Your dad was practically begging us to keep an eye on you so you're coming with us." Said one of the twins from behind her, causing her to whip around to face them.

"It's just us! No need to jump like that." Said the other twin, who sent a look to his counterpart.

"O-ok, if y'all insist." As soon as the few words left her mouth the two boys' faces twisted with confusion.

"Y'all? What the bloody hell are you talking about?"

"And what's with the accent? You sound nothing like your dad."
