I'm finally back! I missed you guys so much and I'm so sorry for being gone for so long! I hope the fluff in this chapter will make up for it a little bit. The photos above are the outfits used at the end of the chapter and I think I forgot to mention that Kikyo has ear piercings so there's a photo of that too. The Bakugou art credit goes to GEAROUS on twitter. I am also very sorry at the shortness of this chapter :( especially with how long I've been gone. With that being said, on with the chapter everyone's been waiting on!

Kikyo's Pov

When I came to, I was met with a white ceiling that belonged to the familiar clean smell of the infirmary. I looked around, hoping to find my phone or a clock of some sort. I noticed my phone on the nightstand next to me and quickly snatched it off said nightstand. Noticing that Recovery Girl wasn't in, I took this chance to grab my shit and leave to class before school ends. I yawned as I walked to the locker room, taking note of the orange and yellow sky which is quite the contrast from the blue sky earlier today. Quickly changing back into my uniform, I made my way back to class with no interruptions.

Katsuki's gonna be pissed~.

I heard Aizawa talking through the classroom door, cursing myself for arriving at such a time. Taking a deep breath, I opened the door and gave him a small smile.

"Sorry for interrupting." I apologized, quickly bowing.

"It's fine, just go take your seat." Aizawa dismissed.

I nodded and took my seat next to Katsuki, who was angrily holding a medal in his mouth for some odd reason. Although confused by his presentation, I decided I would ignore it for now since I'd probably get an explanation later.

"As I was saying, you have the next two days of school off to recuperate," Aizawa informed. "I'm sure the pros who watched the festival will want to recruit some of you, we'll look over the draft forms and update you when you return."

I rested my head on my hand as Aizawa said a few more things that I ignored, before dismissing us. I got up and collected my things, checking my phone in the process of doing so.

Kye and Hari are meeting me at home and my dad wants me to call him whenever I'm free next. Sounds good and I also got congratulated by a few other people.

"Hey Katsuki, did you end up winning?" I asked politely as I approached him, trying to start a conversation.

"Tch, if you can even call it a win," he grumbled.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"I got first place," Katsuki mumbled.

"That's amazing! Congratulations!" I cheered, praising him with a grin.

"But I didn't deserve it," Katsuki growled, quickly turning sour.

Slightly taken back by his answer and change in attitude, I formulated my next words in my head carefully.

"Well, why do you think that?" I asked gently. "I can't help ease you if you don't tell me, you know?"

When I got no answer, I dropped my normal tensed shoulders and gave him a kind smile.

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me right now, take your time." I softly consoled. "Just know that I'm always open if you wanna talk about the win or anything else. I'm here to help when you need it and nothing will change that."

Katsuki took a moment before saying something, a dead giveaway that he took in my words and was thinking about his next move.

"Come on, let's get you home." Katsuki nagged.
