Katsuki didn't know what to think when he looked down to see his childhood friend, if you could even call him that, dead was what his mother told him. He didn't think that the nerd would take his advice. He didn't mean for him to take it literally. He just, just. just. Why did he do all of this.

"It was your fault" he heard a voice from behind him and just realized everything around was frozen nothing was moving except a man in a black coat. He didn't have a response for the man's words just looked down.

"Why are you feeling guilty, isn't this what you wanted. Your friend to die, to give up, to leave." Katsuki fell on his knees at that. A new feeling rising up in his heart. What is this?

"You tried so desperately to remind him of a status he was well aware of, to get to stop looking down on you, when he never did such a thing. Just like the saying you shouldn't meet your idols, they'll only let you down." When he heard that he realized that he was always lying to himself when he kept saying de- izu-could he even say that name anymore, he was never looking down on him. He looked up to him and he just hurt him for it. He actually did miss being friends with the nerd because he felt how real it was, not like the ones now who just do it for his quirk.

"You betrayed the one person who you felt actual friendship with. Did you know that his last ere these 'What the worst is about betrayal, is that it never comes from an enemy only a friend. Kachaan, hope you like this, I'm giving you your wish, be the hero I could never be.'" He didn't tell it to him, no he made him see the scene itself, see it front of his eyes. At that moment he saw his best friend jump off the roof, he actually looked happy. At that moment he broke, he cried his heart out, the anger built up inside of him for years broke and turned into screams of grief and anguish all the memories of him hurting his old friend came back to him at full force. He felt guilt, hate, shame, anger, sadness, he realized everything he did, realized every bad thing he did. He was no hero, he was worse then a villain. He didn't know how long he cried for, but what he did know was he felt a calming, a peaceful, a reasurring warmth around him.  He didn't care anymore he grab onto it and just cried harder.

"This is your fault and so many others." He knew that, he wanted to change. He no longer wanted to be the hero for money and fame, but to give hope to other quirkless kids and outcasts. People who have been hurt for something they couldn't control.

"But you can change for the better" He wanted that so much, so much. He would be better than All might, but not as the symbol of peace, but as the symbol of hope for others who have been hurt aswell.

"You can change because of your will to strive. You are among the very few who's will to strive for greatness, to be the best, is strong." He would strive to go and be the best.

For others. He would change. With that the man left and Katsuki bakugo was left alone
