My mood changes as she walks by the fish pond. A girl is rushing to go to the other building. Many students are giving way to her as if they're scared that she will kill them all if they didn't.
Talking about superior huh.
I looked down at my hands. These flowers are slowly wilting. I smiled and threw them away before I left the area.
The cold night wind embraces me so I took my hoodie from my bag and wore it. Nakatulog pala ako. It's a good thing that it's still ten o'clock and not pass the curfew hours. I sat on the bench that I slept on and looked around. Madami-dami pa and mga tao, mostly outsiders, since hindi pa sarado ang park.
Though there are people here, I slept peacefully. Hindi ganoon kaingay ang park lalo na tuwing gabi. People believed that there's a ghost in the park. Pauso. Sino ba kasi nagpakalat ng storyang ganon?
I just woke up yet my eyes are slowly closing again. I took my bag and went back to the pond to get the flowers I threw earlier. The gates to the campus are closed and the guards are doing their rounds inside the buildings. The pond and park of the school are outside the campus so outsiders can enter and stay here. Students will get park privileges where you can get a discount on what the park would offer.
I sighed and quit looking for the flowers that were gone now. I sat on the bridge of the fish pond and make the last look.
"Oi, Sam. Dito mo naman balak matulog?" the guard's light is directly in my face so I put my hood up to avoid the light. I stood up and walked away, waving to the man behind me. He sighed and walked away too, maybe to go back to his station.
There's still so much time before the school curfew so I can still stay in the park. As soon as I walk to my spot, someone was already seating there. I was about to find another seat until I saw her face.
She's wearing a gray shirt and high waisted shorts that she's wearing earlier. Why is she still here? It's getting late.
The wind blew and it feels colder than before. I leaned on the tree behind me, not taking my eyes off of her. She leaned on the bench and looked down on her hands. I tilted my head to the right to see more clearly.
She's holding some white roses which most likely have thorns in it. She is staring at the roses for a while now. My brows furrowed and my eyes are now directly looking at her hands. Without thinking about it, I stormed to the bench and took the roses off of her hands.
She seemed shocked about what happened because she quickly scooted away from me. I rolled my eyes and scooted next to her again and grabbed her hand.
What a mess.
She just stared at her hands like she was used to seeing it like that. I hissed and took the handkerchief from my pocket and slowly wiped the blood on her hands. She tried to get her hands away from me but I hold it firmly.
Tinaggal niya sa kamay ko ang kamay niya. I opened my bag for the alcohol before I grabbed her hands again. Her right palm is wounded than the left, but it still has scratches. I sprayed the alcohol on her hands the reason why she looked constipated.
