You and Draco Malfoy have always despised each other. He was a Slytherin and you were a Gryffindor. But fourth year came and you had a huge glow up during the summer? Will things be the same?
We got off the train, and saw Molly. She hugged me, and said "Oh Y/N! Have they not been feeding you at Hogwarts? Come on. Let's hurry and get home so we can get some food in you." I laughed and agreed. "Hey Freddy?" "Yeah George?" "Race you to the car." "You're on." I jumped on George's back in a piggy back ride and Ginny jumped on Fred. We ran to the car laughing. George and I lost, but it was close. We got in the car, out of breath, and waited impatiently for Ron, Molly, and Arthur.
We got to the burrow, and I was greeted with the most amazing smell. Ginny and I raced up to her room, which was decorated with posters of the Wimborne Wasps quidditch team. I placed down my things on the bed across from hers, and we went down to eat diner.
"Y/N. How lovely it is to see you again." I heard a voice. I turned around and saw Percy. We was quite awkward and didn't like displays of affection through touch, so I shook his hand. "Glad to be back Percy." I said briskly. "Y/N!!" I heard a loud voice boom. I knew exactly who it was. I felt a large grin spread on my face. "Charlie!" I ran into his arms, and he gave me a big bear hug. "You're back!" I said smiling.
I sat down next to Ron and George at the table, and we were served an excellent dinner. "Erm- Mrs. Weasley, do you think that I could go to Diagon Alley? I was invited to a party and I need a new dress." I asked. "Oh sure, but will you be alright going alone? We have some things to sort out at the ministry tomorrow." She replied. "Oh yeah! That's totally okay."
Ginny and I headed to bed after hours of talking.
In the morning after breakfast, Molly helped me use the floo powder to get to Diagon Alley. She also gave me some to use on the way back.
I ended up in Flourish and Blotts. I stepped out of the store, and stared looking for an appropriate dress. Right when I was about to give up, I found it.

An elegant sky blue how. Which was flowy and light weight. I also purchased a pair of earrings, and a flower crown.

That was way more than I should've spent, so I just paired it with a pair of baby blue heels that I already owned.
I took the dress, crown, and earrings, and brought them back with me to the burrow.
When I got back, I put my things up in Ginny's room, and saw an unfamiliar owl sitting on my bed with a note. I took the note off and read it. "Y/N, the ball will be held tomorrow at the Malfoy Manor at 7:00 pm. See you there! -Blaise."
Oh shit- I haven't even thought of how I could get there. I knocked on Charlie's door and waited for him to open it. "Hey Charlie could you do me a favour?" I asked. "Sure. I don't see why not." He responded. "Could you apparate me to the Malfoy Manor tomorrow? I was invited to a ball." I said. He thought for a moment and said "sure." I smiled and hugged him. "Thanks Charlie!" I ran back to Ginny's room, and started to think of how tomorrow would go.
The next morning, Ginny and I met Hermione. She came to the Burrow and we spent the day together. Ron, Ginny, Hermione, and I went to a nearby park, and picked a bouquet of flowers for Mrs. Weasley, as well as picking some fresh apples. Ginny and I secretly shipped Ron and Hermione together, but we would never tell them. Pretty soon, it was 5:00. We all walked back to the Burrow. I ran up to Ginny's room, and jumped in the shower. The hot water felt good on my skin as steam from the water clouded the air. I stepped out, and dried my hair. I slipped into my dress, shoes, and jewelry. I slightly curled my hair, giving it light waves, and placed the flower crown on my head, and tilted it back, so that the flowers were resting on my hair rather than my forehead. I did my make up which consisted of a natural eye shadow, eyeliner, lashes, highlighter, nude lipstick, and lipgloss.
I grabbed my ticket and ran to Charlie, and we apparated. I always hated apparating. It flipped my stomach, similar to a rollercoaster.
I found my self in front of the manor. Charlie left, and I started walking up to it. The manor seemed to be the only house within miles. As I continued walking, I saw a gate, blocking a hedge outdoor hallway. A man at the gate asked me for my ticket, and my last name. I handed him the small ticket and said "Y/L/N." He opened the gates for me, and I was let inside the manor.
The manor was brightly lit, with many chandeliers, an orchestra, and small chatters. I saw a sign that said "GUESTS THIS WAY". It pointed up the stairs, and I saw a long line of guests waiting on the stairs.
I travelled up the stairs, and saw Blaise. He was wearing an emerald green suit, with a white dress shirt, a black bow tie, and matching green pants with black dress shoes. "Blaise! Hi!" I said. "Hey Y/N." he responded. I looked up to where the stairs led. It led to two large oak doors. "Hey where do those doors lead to?" I asked Blaise. "Oh, well it's customary to announce the arrival of guests once the party starts." He said.
"THE PARKINSONS" I heard a loud voice boom. The two large doors opened, let three people in, then closed. I have no idea of why Pansy insisted on wearing brown to every dance. Soon, Blaise was called. They let him in through the doors and shouted "MR. BLAISE ZABINI". I gulped nervously. I was next.
