Why do we call her a damsel in distress?
Who lives in her fortress..
In need of a prince or a savior
When she herself can be a lot braver!
Why can't she enter a temple while chumming?
While all the sweaty pandits and saints are humming..
Humming the chants of the gods and goddesses
But for them empowering women is still considered a hypothesis!
Why is she taught to be perfect for a man?
When she can be as smarter and braver as he can..
Why is she told that she needs to learn to cook?
When she can hammer a hook and read and write a book.
All we are asking for is equal rights!
Keeping aside the gender fight..
Imagine a man and a woman both equal what a beautiful sight..
Because you and I both know she has the might..
All she needs is a chance or an invite......
