Ballet [Niall Horan love story]

So, life has been absolutely amazing so far. Niall has been healing so well, his knee is so much better the only thing he has is a big scar. Summer and Jakob have both been great, Summer brought in a great school report and Jakob is over basically every day. Life with all the dancers in the one place is amazing, there are always people in our apartment and everything is all fun. The first show has been cast so now it's just practise, practise, practise. I have also gotten more popular in the whole modeling thing, loads of different clothing brands and magazines are wanting to use me to represent them.

Today is Valentine's day which means it's my birthday. This is the first time in years I have been actually excited to wake up to have a great day. It's a Friday so I was woken up by Summer and Niall jumping on my bed trying to wake me.

"Hey, hey, hey!" I yelled, as the both just laughed and lay either side of me.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They both yelled, at the exact same time in either ear.

"Thank's guys, I guess your present is deafness." I turned looking at both of them.

"Come on, don't exaggerate, now get up! We've done so much!" Summer shoved me a little before jumping out of bed. Once she was out of the room I turned fully around to look at Niall.

"Happy Birthday Valentine!" Niall said before giving me a kiss. "And Happy Valentine's day." He mumbled before continuing the kiss.

"Happy Valentine's day, babe." I smiled at Niall as he played with some curls of mine on the pillow.

"Guy's come on!" Summer yelled from another room, it made me laugh so I got up out of bed. I was in my pyjamas so I followed Niall into the living room.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone was in my apartment but one set of eyes caught mine, Cole's. I looked at Summer and she just nodded with a smile. Everyone was still dressed in pyjamas like me, Summer and Niall so it was cute, even Cole was dressed in pyjamas so he's making an effort.

"Thanks you guys!" I smiled as I caught Summer taking some photos, I swear to go I'm going to have to get her a new phone just to hold all her pictures.

I went around talking to everyone and people kept giving me gifts, I was so excited for my first birthday that I'll totally love with everyone I love with me. After talking to the majority of people, opening up loads of gifts that everyone has gotten me and we all had pancakes and waffles for breakfast, I got round to talking to Cole, but I done that in the privacy of my bedroom.

"Happy Birthday." Cole smiled softly at me as we both sat on my unmade bed. "I'm sorry for Christmas, what I said was bang out of order, I just..." He sighed "I was just jealous of you guys."

"You were jealous of us?" I snorted as I looked up from my hands.

"Yeah, I didn't want to leave you guys, I was only 16 and you girls were both my baby sisters. I wanted to protect you both because if Summer was anything like you were when you were a teenager, she'd need protecting like I did for you. When I showed up on Christmas, basically I still expected my little sisters but both of you were grown up and man, Summer is so protective of you in the way I wish I was of you." Cole took my hand. "Valley, I am so sorry what happened. Please can you just be my little sister again?"

I nodded and pulled my brother into a hug. I have missed him so much, there was only a year between us so we were close, a lot closer than Summer and I use to be. He use to beat up my old boyfriends when they dumped me, he always came into my room during thunderstorms because I hated them and he was always there for me.

"Val." I looked up from the hug and Summer was standing at the door holding her arm looking awkward.

"Come here, Summer." I opened my arm and Summer joined our hug. "Now, we're going to try be a family, is that okay with you?" I asked, Summer and she nodded pulling both Cole and I closer into a hug.

After out little family get together in my bedroom, everyone left to get ready for practise or for Summer and Jakob they went to get dressed for school. I'd gotten the day off to spend with Niall as it's my birthday and our first Valentines day together so we were just spending the whole day together. For Valentines day, Niall had bought my a funny t-shirt that said 'Don't Kiss Me, My Boyfriend's Irish' and he begged me to wear it today. I slipped that t-shirt on along with some jeans, some boots and a jacket then we decided to do a cheesy walk in Central Park.

"Come on!" Niall laughed as he was bent over. "Valentine, come on!" He chuckled and I jumped onto his back.

We'd been in the park for a hour and a bit so we were carrying on. Niall walked to give me a piggy back ride and somehow we found it so funny. So, now Niall is carrying me to the zoo that wasn't far from where we were right now. Everyone in the park right now where basically couples but they were being all romantic, holding hands and admiring stuff. Niall and I are just having fun.

"Come on, lets go see the penguins!" I urged as we got into the zoo, I'd taken Summer to this zoo like a thousand times so I know exactly where everything is.

"Okay, Okay." Niall laughed as he walked following the directions.

I haven't realized it but it's been about 5 months since Niall came into the coffee shop and it's been since he came into my life that it seems to have gotten so much better. He's like my little lucky charm. Everything seems to be getting better with Niall being in my life. Summer is so happy, she has a boyfriend who is amazing and she is just so much happier than she's been in a long time. Cole is now back in our lives, I am so happy that he is because he's my big brother and I love him so much.

"Niall, I'm so happy!" I sighed watching the little penguins waddle around in their little enclosure. Niall just wrapped his arms around me and it made me even happier.

After we spent the whole morning and afternoon in the park and by the time we left, Niall and I were both freezing so we raced back to my apartment. It wasn't a very fair race because the boots I was wearing were very slippy but when we got to my apartment we both changed back into our pyjamas. I turned the heating up, grabbed loads of blankets and we met on the sofa.

"Today has been my best birthday ever!" I smiled as Niall and I were cuddled up on the smallest sofa with about 20 blankets on top of us.

"Today has been the best valentines day every!" Niall smiled down at me.

Because it's valentines day, there was cheesy romantic movies on tv so we put on The Vow and ordered takeaway. Summer isn't coming home tonight because Jakob has planned out a night full of surprises for her then there staying at Jakob's place. I trust Summer, I know they've done stuff because Summer tells me everything but I know they're safe.

I got the door when the pizza guy came as Niall grabbed some napkins and drinks from the kitchen. I sat the pizza on table then jumped back on the sofa with a slice in my hands, I'd left Niall his spot and pressed play on the movie we'd paused.

"Valentine." I turned to Niall as he had a massive smile on his face.

"What?" I asked with a chuckle fixing his messy blonde hair a little.

"I love you, Valentine."
