Hi, I'm Veronica and I'm 10 years old. You may already know me as one of Cinderella's ugly step-sister.... but I'm not. Cinderella is the one whose the bully and I'm the one who tolerates it. Anyway, let me not get ahead of myself.
Let me introduce my not-so-perfect family. There's my my Carol, short for Carolina. Then my annoying sister, Roxy and me- Veronica. And together we're the Coleman family.
The reason I find Roxy so annoying is because she's three years younger than me and gets away with everything! A few days ago, she was trying to do ballet in the kitchen whilst I was washing the dishes and of course, she had to knock down the massive pile of China plates whilst doing a stupid kart-wheel. Obviously, she ran into the garden and started playing with Boxer, her puppy. And when mother came downstairs; this is what went down...
"Veronica ,what on earth happened here?" Carol questioned.
"Umm..." I stummered as I eyed Roxy.
"What happened!" Mum shouted.
"It was Roxy!" I finally shouted back.
"No!" Argued Roxy "It was Veronica, she was reaching for the candy jar and ... and ..." Roxy stammered
"No! Roxy is lying. She was trying to do a cart wheel and knocke it over."
I arged back.
" ENOUGH! " yelled mother in frustration.
After that there was silence; which was broken by Roxy' s FAKE waterworks.
"Stop crying dear ." Mum said softly whilst rubbing her cheeks. " What's the matter Roxy? " Mother questioned.
"Veronica is lying to get me into trouble." Sniffed Roxy
"Is that true Veronica?" Mum said suspectively
"No, she's the one.." But before I could even finish the sentence, I was sent to my room without breakfast.
