Author's note:
What's good weirdos?
Oh my goodness wait I think I just came up with a beautiful catchphrase there-
Um, I'm going to be using that from now on at the beginning of these chapters, so that's fun.
This is also unedited per usual for my writing so I apologize for errors.
Okay, back to the actual book.
Genesis's POV:
I strode across my creaky wood floor to my bedroom. I took out the small suitcase that I used to carry my items when I initially moved here and placed it on my bed. I opened it and packed necessities that I would want for Earth, such as clothes and trinkets that kept me happy. I stuffed them neatly into the suitcase and zipped it up neatly.
I placed the luggage upright on the ground and I pushed the small button on the top of the handle in order to elongate it. I released the trigger and rolled the suitcase into the living room which was also connected to my front door.
"All ready?" Chance perked up. She was now laying on my dilapidated couch.
This house is absolutely falling apart. I am so happy to be leaving.
"Yep, all packed," I gave a closed-mouth awkward smile.
"I'm gonna miss you, little sis," She pushed her lips into a line.
"I'll miss you and only you," My face softened, "Otherwise, fuck everyone here they can rot for all I care. You're literally the only person left that I still like."
"You're not the only person I like here, but you're the only one from our family that I can stand. I swear, I can't stay around our family for more than a day before I start to go insane."
"Tell me about it, I can barely spend ten minutes just paging them," I agreed.
We sat in awkward silence for a couple of seconds when I finally spoke up again. "I should go now before father tries to come get me," I chuckled.
"Yeah," Chance said quietly and stood up from the couch.
As she started to walk towards me I widened my eyes, "Don't you dare try to hug me Chance," I hissed.
A smirk grew on her face as she dashed towards me. I stood there in absolute agony as she wrapped her arms around my torso.
"See was that so bad," She stuck her tongue out as she backed away.
Yes, yes it was.
I didn't actually dislike affection. In fact, it felt nice to be embraced by another, but it made me uncomfortable when I didn't feel like the interaction was necessary. I believed that they should be saved for special moments, or else their effect will dull and be less effective when used in terms of comfort.
"Goodbye sister," I gave a small wave as I started to turn towards the door.
"I'll never understand how you manage to be so formal and so informal at the same time," She commented, turning my attention back to her, "I mean, a minute ago you were telling me that our family can fuck themselves and now you're addressing me as 'sister' again," She looked up at the ceiling as she spoke, "You're just so complex and I don't understand what goes through your mind half the time, but I guess you're just...Genesis, my weird little sister that I adore."
The term adore struck me with a feeling that I couldn't quite identify. It was strange to listen to her speak of me so kindly. After all, she spent most of the time teasing me based on my strange habits, so I never thought of any adoration she may have held for me.
"I love you, Gen," She added, "I don't show it all the time but I really hope the world gives you everything that you deserve and more. You're insanely unique and there's so much you can bring into this boring place so......promise me you won't lose your spark while you're gone."
Spark? I wasn't quite sure what she was referencing. There was nothing about me that was special. I was just a stupid girl with an odd dream.
"I love you too, Chance," I smiled, "I don't ever really display that affection towards you, but I do. I'll see you before you know it."
I opened the door.
"Bye Genesis."
"Bye Chance," I gave a final closed mouth smile before stepping out of the house.
My feet scuffed across the ground as flakes of sand toppled across the toes of my shoes. I marched across the terrain until I reached the plot of land where the portal was located.
I stared down into the abyss of the hole embedded into the ground. I was around the size where I could fit while holding my suitcase tightly against my chest.
I took a deep breath before picking up my suitcase and bracing it against my bust. I stepped forward, my eyes still examining the opening.
This is it.
I bent my knees and sprung up forward into the hole. I fell quickly, my hair flew up above my head as the air rushed past my face. I plummeted down for a short while until my feet landed in a muddy substance. I looked down to see purple quicksand pulling me down as my body inched deeper and deeper into the ground.
I didn't panic during the process because this was exactly what was supposed to happen. The gate was meant to pull me through the muck into the Earth dimension. I let myself sink into the purple soil until I was fully absorbed and before I knew it, I fell for a couple milliseconds when my feet made contact with the floor of a building.
I made it!
I surveyed the room I was in. It was a bedroom that was full of colored lights that were set in strips across the walls. A computer was set up in the corner of the room on a large desk. It was connected to miscellaneous musical instruments. I spotted an electric guitar next to the desk chair and an acoustic one located by the closet door. As my eyes darted across the room I heard a slight creak.
I snapped my head in the direction of the noise as my eyes met a human teenage boy entering the room. He had dark brown hair that landed right to his cheeks, and his eyes were a deep shade of brown. He was dressed rather nicely and wore a silver heart chain around his neck. A silver watch with red detailing clung to his wrist, and he had his ears pierced with one ear stud and the other a dangly earring.
"What the fuck?!?" He shouted as his eyes landed on me, "Who the fuck are you and why are you in my room?!?" Terror filled his eyes as he backed up.
Shit. How am I going to explain this?

Author's note:
How rude Payton. You shouldn't yell at pretty girls who appear in your room-
uh anyways
If you've read my other books you should know by now that I thoroughly enjoy cliffhangers so enjoy, heh
Question for today:
Do you have any phobias?
I have severe trypophobia to the point where I will feel sick just thinking about weird patterns of holes.
Okay, that's all from me,
Later Losers🦑
