Forbidden Love [Jiaqi x Xueer]

Jiaqi felt her entire world light up. She thought she hear Xueer wrongly at first until the latter shook her head and smiled lightly, "And yes you heard me right. I love you Jiaqi. But unfortunately, even when I wanna kiss you so badly, I can't. I'm no cheater."

That sent Jiaqi bursting out in happy tears as her arms swung around Xueer's neck. However, another negative thought crossed her mind, making her pause for a second. "Even when I'm a...you know?"

Xueer nodded her head and smiled brightly, "I don't care about that. Love is love." Jiaqi sniffed cutely while the redheaded wiped the tears off her cheeks. She still couldn't believe what she had heard. Ever since the four vampires had faced the other three humans, 2 days had passed. Of course it was torture for both Jiaqi and Xueer, till today. The awkwardness between them finally cleared up, replaced with love and affection.

Right then, Xiaotang, Yuyan and Shuxin came storming into the toilet while clapping and crying. "Y'all finally stopped being so fucking dense. I am so proud." Shuxin then continued, "If only that volleyball and music girl saw this, they would be proud of you Jiaqi." Keran and Keyin had also auditioned for the clubs they wanted to take part in and of course they got in. Keran in volleyball as a middle blocker and Keyin in the school band as a bassist and songwriter.

Yuyan agreed while wiping her tears and Xiaotang dramatically passing tissues to the other two. Both Xueer and Jiaqi felt their heads explode with embarrassment. Blushing hard, Jiaqi cleared her throat and questioned them, "How long have y'all been outside for?"

Yuyan then smirked evilly, "Why? Were you guys doing something?" The two only blushed harder with Xueer frantically shaking her head, "Of course not what the hell. I love Jiaqi but I'm not a cheater."

Xiaotang nudged Yuyan and shook her head motherly, "Let's not stress them any harder. We just got here like a second ago so we didn't hear or see anything."

Both Jiaqi and Xueer exchanged smiles before pushing the three out, "Let us enjoy this moment first and don't you dare to snoop."

Once the three were reluctantly pushed out, Jiaqi engulfed Xueer in another tight hug, as if she was never gonna let go, "Just a few days ago we were so awkward and uncomfortable with one another...If it was any longer that I had to avoid you, I would've went insane."

Xueer cracked a smile as she smoothened Jiaqi's silky coal black hair, "Well now we won't be feeling any of that anymore." Relief, sincerity and love laced her honey sweet voice. Though they were having their moment and happiness, satisfaction were all they felt in that moment, it won't last for long.

When Xueer broke up with Yuxin, surprisingly, the blonde had no big reactions. Just an understanding nod and forced smile which seemed too unusual for someone who hated Jiaqi and would go against the two so frequently. It almost felt like she had expected this and prepared for the worst which was the breakup. Or was it because of something else?

And of course on the other hand, Jiaqi and Xueer had been laughing and smiling with each other so sweetly as they locked arms, walking down hallways with students gasping and staring at the new couple.

It was early in the afternoon and the inter high tournament was about to start. With supporters of all schools in the huge arena, the place was roaring with screams. Jiaqi sat on the bench as she heaved a sigh. Xueer was watching, she can't afford to let her down. She couldn't let her teammates down too.

The redheaded was seated on the first row with a huge Jiaqi, Yuyan and Xiaotang banner. Switching them from time to time while screaming their names, trying to fight with the other fangirls. To Jiaqi, it was extremely comical seeing how serious and ticked off Xueer was when a group of fangirls chanted her name.

Getting into positions, the whistle blew and finally, the game started. Their opponents might seem formidable, however, Xiaotang and Keni could see right through their tricks and techniques. They were the sharp ones in the team after all. During the timeout, they changed their playing from defensive to offensive. This would put the other team on the spot with less defenders and more offenders.

Both Yuyan and Jiaqi was the aces of Autumn High. They were the duo who anyone would be scared of when competing against them. After a few moments right after the time out, they had won the first quarter.

Quarters after quarters, they finally won the first game. Because of Jiaqi's three point shoot right before the time ran out, they managed to escape from losing. Xueer felt a wave of pride as she screamed at the top of her lungs, "THAT'S MY GIRL RIGHT THERE!" Shuxin huffed and competed with Xueer, "ZHAO XIAOTANG, SHOW THEM WHO'S BOSS!"

Just then, a group of Yuyan fangirls glared at Xueer and Shuxin before doing the exact same. But of course Keyin and Keran wouldn't lose either. In the end they cheered the loudest with Xueer and Shuxin whining at that fact.

The second game then begun. Though Jiaqi were already quite tired, seeing how enthusiastic Xueer was in cheering for her and even having her face pasted on her cap, she couldn't help but feel a surge of energy strike her.

With the second team, it was much harder to score as the members were exceptionally tall which makes their defense good. However Xueer was completely captivated by the way Jiaqi's swiftly moved while dribbling the ball and how her jersey showed her biceps which flexed every time she passes the ball or shoots. She didn't even notice that they were tied until Shuxin mentioned it with a sulky face.

But of course they were stronger in offense. At last they managed to score 3 more points than the other, winning the 2nd round. The whole team was cheering at the top o their voices passionately. They had won. They just had to win three more rounds to win the inter high tournament which will take place tomorrow and the day after.

Immediately charging down to the stand, not caring how sweaty Jiaqi was, Xueer hugged her and almost cried, "You won!" The short haired girl laughed as she stepped away from her, "Well, we won but thank you Xueer. Also you're overreacting."

Pouting, Xueer sulked and passed her the cold bottle of water, making Jiaqi coo at how cute she was and pinch her cheeks. Keyin rolled her eyes playfully and fake gagged, "Y'all are too sweet." Xueer only glared at the girl who was laughing at the reaction. Xueer and Keyin though sometimes get along well, they still had a long way to go. Especially whenever Keyin just touches Jiaqi, Xueer would get all protective.

Keran, Xiaotang and Shuxin got along well, with Keran always bullying Shuxin and Xiaotang always either siding with Keran or defending Shuxin. This just made yuyan and Jiaqi relieved that they were getting along well.

Just like that, the day ended with Xueer heading over to Jiaqi's after the team celebration dinner for the first quarter of the tournament, not caring about her parents anymore. She didn't care about whatever her parents had to say and she didn't want to deal with their fucked up scoldings. Besides, they don't even care about her, just money.

anywhoo, next chapter will be about Xueer staying over at Jiaqi's place👀 and a bit of the basketball match before simething big happens. Anyways grab your popcorn for the next few chapters because it will be tough.

Also it's just a fanfic so I hope y'all don't get the wrong idea of Yuxin being the bad person here.
